I've always wondered why they changed the course. If you look up the home straight here it goes from right to left: chase, national, hurdle. But today it's national, chase, hurdle. Doesn't that make it a longer run in now because there's a sharper angle between the final fence and the elbow?
Thanks for showing these races, it give good horses another chance to be remembered. Is there a chance of uploading some real old horses fom wsy back here are a few names Crudwell, Le garcon d'or, Baulking Green, Royal Relief, Buona Notte, Sempervivum and Lady Rebecca.
Great to see the blinkered Bajan Sunshine, usually a front runner, but sometimes caused his rider Peter Scudamore some problems. Not sure where he finished in this race, 3rd or 4th, anyone know?
