Please human mom feed Lucky when he gets up, before you want to lay him down, and before bedtime. Treat Lucky like you would a newborn human baby. However, baby monkeys are a little different, I have watched videos on monkeys in the forest with newborns and mommy monkey holds them close to their chest to feed and the babies are feeding like all the time and they fall asleep while suckling, but they aren't eating! I hope I am making sense to you, but as other comments of people, babies need to be fed about every 2 hours using baby formula. Good luck to Lucky and I hope to watch him grow into a beautiful adult Lucky. God be with Lucky and you!

All monkeys eat like this. In the wild they must eat quickly as other monkeys will steal the food that they intend to eat if they take their time. Only when a monkey has been in a household and been well-fed continuously will it slow down its eating. Is monkey is not starving by any means.

Feed her milk more often give her milk first every 2 to 3hrs then give her solid foor 3 times a day like a porridge for breakfast vegetables and fruit for other meals and dont forget to offer her water to in-between. When she got a little bigger they got rid of her. They either released her in to the wild or sold her to people who tortured her until she died. That is what all these people do.

This monkey is well fed. They probably feed her on a schedule so let them decide when they're going to feed her rather than putting your 2 cents in when you have no idea what their daily schedule is like. Animals will eat themselves sick if you allow them to. Part of their wild nature to eat as much as they can stomach as they don't know when they will eat the next time. It's only when they know they will eat on a certain schedule and the food comes regularly that their nature is overridden. Even domesticated animals like dogs and cats will gorge themselves until they're sick especially when they're pups and kittens until they understand that the food will always be there. This is why so many pets are overweight. They will eat what is given. Monkeys are no exception and pet monkeys when overfed become obese and develop diabetes fairly easily especially when they are fed human fruits and such. So just because you think they're starving, without knowing their diet and feeding schedule, continuing to feed them may have dire consequences if not kept in check. So let the owners decide what and when they eat as they've probably owned at least one more monkey than you most likely have...

Lucky is probably sucking his thumb because if hevwere with his mom he would be feeding most of the time. Monkey moms keep their babies attached to them most of the time. They have their food available all the time. They cling to their moms for food, security. The fur and heartbeat comfort them. Please try to simulate their mothers care as close as possible. Lucky seems to be hungry most of the time.

Monkeys gorged themselves because in the wild other monkeys will take their food if they do not eat quickly. It's in their nature to eat quickly. Try not to make assumptions based on little to no information and spread rumors as if you know that the monkey is being starved.

This monkey's very well adjusted to the household acts very calmly even when eating, taking a bath, and when being put to sleep. It throws very few fits even when being set aside which means it feels very comfortable in its surroundings and with the people taking care of it. My blood pressure goes up when I see mom not heeding to many sensible advice for her from the many feedback she has received.
1. Lose the fleece and man made polyester clothing in the Vietnamese humidity and heat 35-38’C indoors and outdoors. Her body temperature is regulated by her natural fur.
You have a Tee on and UV protection sleeves for your arms. Do you think the monkey will feel hot in what you are subjecting him to wear ?
2. The clothes are hindering her movement and climbing.
3. You are not given her ready access to a water bowl 24/7, and only giving water to her on a bottle when you are feeding.
4. You are not feeding her once every 2 hours only only attempt to feed her when RUclips filming is on for your viewers.
5. Bananas are high in sugar content - it is not a natural food for monkeys in the wild. Having bananas as a main source of food is actually BAD for the monkey. It leads to gastrointestinal issues and diabetes with monkeys in captivity. You are subjecting Lucky to this if you don’t moderate the sugary fruits - so please review what you are feeding him.
Lentils, pulses, seeds, shoots, cereals (oats seeds, wild rice, grass, bran and wheat seeds) should be on top of his menu. Sugary fruits are at the bottom of his dietary requirements and only provided as a treat.
As a zookeeper , I am appalled by your lack of understanding in what you are doing to support this poor baby monkey. Please look to surrender her to proper wildlife authorities for proper care and release back into the forests.

When this lady first got this monkey she was very loving towards her. But for awhile now she acts like she doesn't want to be bothered. All she keeps on doing is trying to make the baby monkey go to sleep so, she can go do what she wants to do. This beautiful baby monkey loves this lady but the monkey isnt getting that much love back in return. So many people have told this lady that baby Lucky has to get fed a bottle of milk every 2 to 3 hrs a day. When baby wakes up, before playing and before baby goes to sleep. Along with getting Lucky a stuffed animal to sleep with for security etc. I know for a fact that the advice people are leaving is correct because ive been watching 100s of monkey videos myself. This lady hearts every comment thats being left showing that she agrees with what people are saying. Yet, she is still doing the same things she's been doing so, i dont know if she understands or she just doesn't care. I can't stand watching this innocent, beautiful, baby monkey being treated the way she is. Everyone can see that the baby is hungry all the time. Yet this lady either can't see it or she just doesn't care. So lady, if you can't take care of this beautiful baby monkey the way she should be taken care of then give it to someone who can!! People please stop telling her she’s doing everything wrong when you only see 20 minutes of her day, we don’t know what she feeds Lucky or how often or if he just woke up or not. Stop being so critical, the baby is doing fine and since most folks don’t own monkeys. I think she’s doing fine in the 20 minutes a day during the video, I’m sure Lucky eats and not just during the 20 minutes a day we see her.
