Thanks for the demo! I have a Lakland 55-02 that’s great but I’m not really happy with the pickups/electronics.So I bought an Aguilar obp-3 preamp & Nordstrand MM5.2 + J5sp which are nice.. But want a more aggressive, modern, Flea sounding design. I’ve been trying to decide between Delano ceramic MC5 FE +JCM5 OR Delano’s high end MC5 He/s+JCM5 He/s with closed covers.
I realize you probably don’t speak English (but everyone uses translator’s). But I’m wondering why you chose Delano’s small pole-piece Alnico magnet J-neck pickup? Instead of the 9.5mm pole-piece JCMC5 FE which matches & was designed to pair with your MC5 FE..?
No problem @@sirqbass we have never talked? What I said was “maybe English was a second language for you?” I wasn’t sure.. But I thought nowadays there’s plenty of translator programs so that shouldn’t be an issue… I went with Delano MC5 He/s & JCM He/s cloed cover pickups in my Lakland 5 string by the way, And I’m very happy with them!
Great video and great sounding bass!!!! Just remember series is always the darker beefier tone and parallel is the brighter-slap tone.
