This mix is epic, but I don't know man... there's some cool modern stuff. The Doom 2016 soundtrack, the main Skyrim theme (Christ... that might be retro at this point), chunks of the Dark Souls collected soundtrack I'll remember forever. (Main menu bootup for Dark Souls 3 is amazing). There's some Witcher 3 tracks I'll 100% remember on my deathbed.. or shit, Undertale's soundtrack was all written by the same high school kid that made the rest of the game, there's a lot of stuff there I'll remember forever too. The fact that indy stuff can exist now (Hades end theme?) I think opens a lot of doors to stuff we could never have heard in the 90's. Definitely ton of classic OSTs that are amazing (Chrono Trigger will probably always be a favorite), but I think it sells it short to figure it's the decade that matters. Plenty of other games I played a lot where I couldn't hum a single bar from the whole game. (Age of Empires 2? Lufia 2? Even in this medley, I only remember maybe half the songs. Maybe it just feels like stuff like then was better, because we only remember the amazing stuff, the oatmeal filler just gets forgotten. Maybe this will seem like an amazing time too in hindsight... maybe by the 2040's, the upcoming 2020's will seem like an epic time too, since we'll just remember this compressed version of all the best things that'll come out this next decade. I like that perspective... means you never know when you'll encounter the next gem that you'll remember for the rest of your life. They're rare, but as long as you're alive they're never all behind you.

Yeah, I have to agree. A lot of guitarists fill in with the bass but treat it like a 4 string guitar instead of a similar yet different instrument. Others have a habit of having it too low in the mix. It's not forgotten here.

That Ryu theme omg it got my hairs on the back of my body chills and excitement and Ryu is my # 1 favorite Street fighter Character and I still main him on Every Street fighter game he is in wow excellent job dude.
Man, Its been almost 6 days now... and I still come to this page. Watch your play and enjoy the amazing music and clean play you are doing. I really loved your bass lines work more than anything.... But I was disappointed not to hear Ryu's theme... until that break down at 5:08 the theme on its own is amazing but man. you made my skin and hair chilled. I started Karate cus of Ryu. Waw it was awesome! As many people have said, the bass was brilliant and was definitely the highlight of the medley. I don't know if it's because of my speakers but the disto leads felt a bit low sometimes, it would be cool to have it louder sometimes.
