About gakpo, he isn’t doing well for Liverpool because he doesn’t get the freedom that koeman gives him in the Netherlands team. In an interview Keoman said that gakpo is they basically their best attacking player and he has the freedom to cut inside or stay wide whenever he wants. Koeman said he doesn’t believe in limiting players of very high ability
And he is making the most of it. Really surprised how well he plays.

Good isn't the word that I would use. A lot of attackers yes, but they are below the level of Mane.
On Ruiz, the Spanish coach said he might be slightly more limited offensively because they are facing the best midfield in the tournament so idk about him this game. Still a good player but apparently will be playing more defensively.

Just a note, the yellow cards are already wiped after the round of 16, so there is no risk of suspension for the semi-finals unless your player is sent off.
It is not true, the yellow cards are cleared after the quarter finals. I have read it in several articles.

In this case the best case scenario is to lose 6 players with 4 free transfers 🤔
Yes, but that drops from 15 to 9 and with 4 free transfers you are up to 13. You will be limited on the bench, but still have an okay darft.
For me I feel England will win vs Switzerland by a lot because the Swiss coach said they are the favorites and they plan to play the possession game and make England sit back and defend, which in my opinion will make them lose the game by quite a lot.
Will see, but I want it covered. Every team has its straights and the Swiss team caused so many issues to Germany. I believe they will cause a lot to England as well.
Maybe you should put x.simons instead of Ruiz and yamal for gakpo but idk if a wildcard player wants to forfeit gakpo

I took a -4 point hit to replace my suspended players. Do you think I should instead use wildcard? I’m 10 points behind in my mini league now
I think your team is perfectly balanced now. Keep the wildcard for semis as around half of your players may be out and you will set up for semi and final. That is my strategy that is why I suggest it to everyone.
@@FPLMV I’m only thinking about it mainly because of the upside of Gakpo for Moratta, F. Ruiz for Bruno, and some solid ball recovery defenders. It may be worth the risk to take a lead, but of course there’s the risk of upsets destroying my team. What would you say to rhat
I think the risk is not worth it. You already have a really good team, you will be improving it for sure, but prepared for semis and finals properly seems like the better decision.

Instead of Sabitzer you can go for Bruno. The wildcard is for the semi final. I would swap Pepe for VVD or Ake as well on the limitless.
Is it worth going -4 for gakpo instead of morata
I don't think it is worth taking hits, I have taken one and it was not worth it at all. Maybe Gakpo will outperform Morata, but he can easily blank. If it was my situation I wouldn't take it.

MID: Barella, Pedri, Musiala, Gundo, Bruno
DEF: MIttlestadt, Cucurella, Bastoni, Guehi, Cancelo

i have already used limitless and if i were not to use WC, i would have to use all three transfers only transferring out the players which are not playing, is it worth the risk to carry on without WC?
For me the risk will be to play now the Wildcard. You have the 3 transfers, I would go for Akanji and a French defender to cover the defences and maybe an English player in midfield to have a little coverage there.
If you feel confident in a team you can go all in with them like the Netherlands for example and pick 2 more players from their side.
Personally I like the safe split myself to cover all of the teams.

Hey dude im currently676in the World what do you recommand going for wildcard since i have Costa Ronaldo Pepe no german defenders Baumgartner and guehi or juste replace Baumgartner guehi and Ronaldo , my défense is Pickford Costa guehi pépé kounde carvajal cucurella ,mid musiala Fabian Ruiz Nico wiliams bellingham and fwd IS mbappe gakpo and ronaldo
For me just replace the guys not playing and one extra transfer for whoever you like. The team is really solid, I like it a lot!
When do you think that I should use my WC for in MD or MD 6 please bud 🙏 🙂

You will need in my opinion at least one Spanish player for the attack. If you consider transfering in someone in midfield, I would go to Kane from Morata. Another option is to go for Bellingham and keep Morata. It depends on your preferences.

On the other question for me Austria were better. Turkey got the set pieces and a very solid and lucky defensive performance.

Yes if you change the cap, the double points disappear and you will double the points on next cap
@jakecoghill2205 in my opinion you do not need a wildcard for this round. You can try to include some dutch players and I believe your team will be even better. I suggest VVD Gakpo or Simons. It is up to you who you don't like and want to replace.
I have Schlotterbeck, Guehi, Sabitzer, Ronaldo. Would you sell Ronaldo or Schlotterbeck even if Schlotti doesn’t start? Cause I could get Gakpo and better Midfielder / Defender from the money from Ronaldo. Idk that last Matchday took my soul I had Kounde on the bench and Mbappe Ronaldo f’d me 😅😂
I would most probably keep Schlotterbeck and use money from Ronaldo in that case. Taking a hit is not worth it. Having two bench players is not optimal but the funds will be limited in the other scenario. Wait until deadline, you may get in better mood and keep Ronaldo 😀
About the Kounde benching, this things can happen. Don't feel bad, another week is around the corner.
@@FPLMV nah my worst player was Kane with 6 points, I had Ronaldo, Mbappe, Cancelo Fernandes that day, so I decided to bench Kounde who made the most points from all of them, that’s so unlucky but my own fault cause I should’ve gone gakpo for CR7 to have 2 subs on last day.. bad managed but what can ya do
Your decision was justified, I would have probably done the same with Kounde. Keep going!
