I must get out of my overwhelmed slump. So true about giving up on tasks because the box’s in your pathway. I think I will go through my husbands items. It’s been two and a half years now. Out of guilt I have not donated how ever….. You gave me a comforting nudge. ❤️🐩 But I want that beaded green tree!! 😊
Haha I'm not an organised person, I spend more time looking for tools than doing the project. I've started to downsize my tool collection over the last few years because of ill health and are now concentrating on clocks and old radios. I've made a start to get organised creating a nice work area, there's a post on my channel and tagged you 😊
I hope your health will improve. It sucks when you don't feel well. I think realizing you can't do everything you're interested in and just focusing on the few things that truly make you happy is better and more productive. 👍
Great video. I found Kondo's Joy at Work at bargain books about 3yrs ago..still haven't read it😂. I'm with u on separation of church and state...Hope you are doing ok with all the election stress and hateful rhetoric. 💙
You seem to be at the stage of 'growing out your bangs' with your hair. I've been there, done it having grown out an undercut pixie to a long bob. I'd recommend a headband. Especially the cute fabric ones with a knot on top. Very cute and practical.
Thank you for that, April! I'm wearing a headband as I type this but it's just an ordinary one. I will look into the fabric ones with the knot on top, definitely! Pixie cuts are very cute. I'm just at that awkward hair stage where you can't do too much but getting there. 🤣🤣Thank you so much for your nice comment!!!
I'm someone that finds it hard to get rid of stuff, I must have some part of my brain that wants to keep everything. I did manage to have a garage sale last year with the help of my friend and sell stuff I had packed away for yeas. But what didn't sell I just packed up again, maybe I will try and sell that stuff on ebay this winter. Most everything I keep is antique or vintage so there is some value to it and I have a had time just letting it go for free. I admire you for being able to get rid of things like you are doing. I have a question, what sort of camera do you use when making videos? As always thanks for the video.
Hi Elbridge. I use a 14 year old Canon Vixia Camcorder HFM40. Giving to the thrift shop so they can resell it helps them give jobs to people so that helps me justify giving it away a little better. If I tried to sell everything to squeeze every last penny out of items, I would still have so much cluttering the place that just having the freed up space and the tidiness is worth being rid of it. Since I also have the tendency to keep things I have to recognize that can also just be an excuse not to let go. I have also seen how older people save items to the point where when they pass away, they are literally surrounded by mountains of stuff. I just made the decision that that will not be me. Everyone needs to make their own choices though. 😁

We all need a nudge once in awhile. 😁😁🥰
A very impressive work from you!
Thank you, April!! That's so sweet! 😊

I try not to watch too much news since it is so depressing. I have plenty of stress without the election being added! 🤣💗
