- Here it is... Spent some time creating promo's and gag reel footage while I waited for the set to release! Then Playmobil released a nice video that I used bits from to try and make my own series intro to precede the review. I hope you enjoy!

For anyone wondering, Magnum had use of 4 Ferrari 308s during the run of the series. The first one, was a 1978 308 GTS, which was used in the pilot and also seen in the opening credits of each episode in each season. The one in the pilot didn't have a vanity licence plate, instead it was "56E-478". The second one (during season 1) was a 1979 308 GTS, the third one (during seasons 2-6) was a 1981 308 GTSi, the fourth one, this one, (during seasons 7-8), which is a 1984 308 GTS QuattroValvole. I mention all of this, because I recently started watching the whole series (I'm mid way through season 3 at the time of typing this), something I've never done before and I was wondering why this car looked different to the cars in the first few seasons. Now you know.

Your vids are the absolute best...honest and straightforward and full of helpful info. The dilemma is whether to buy now or wait. I feel 80 is too much but What if production stops and then ebay sellers will demand 500-1000 bucks making the 80$ seem a bargain in comparison!
So true. Playmobil seems to work in a 18 month rotation where they measure interest and determine whether to expand or not. Case in point is the Scooby Doo and Back to the Future and Ghostbusters they went crazy with vs Star Trek that they are rumored to sunset it. Right now on Amazon the Delorean is going for like $25 along with the Scooby van and the Ateam van is down $20... So my guess is by May the Ferrari will be down $20-$30
