This is an unscripted rant that I tried to edit into something coherent. I still don't know if I succeeded. What I do know is that it would be really funny if I got shot right after posting this. Not suggesting anything... just begging.

Man, good for you for being a legit free thinker. Not that conservative talk-show crap where they comfort their audience by calling them “free thinkers”; or the crazy liberals who are so free thinking that they knee-jerkly react against whatever conservatives say; and visa versa. the political landscape is just full of a lot if crap, but thankfully in the center of that crap there is still a middle-ground able to question that crap or accept when a good argument is made

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm guessing this "firearms legal protection" only defends people who were legally allowed to be carrying their (registered) guns in the first place...?
If that is the case--if there are stipulations for who gets legal representation--I imagine many (if not most) gang members don't fall under that umbrella.
Still, all of this might make for some good stand-up material with a bit of rework.

Yes, this type of insurance only covers people who are legally carrying and who act within the bounds of the law.
what a shame. fallopiumfilms makes great content when it comes to film, etc. his big lebowski video is excellent for example. turns out hes just another authoritarian statist who supports civilian disarmament and the state having supremacy over every facet of peoples lives.
state monopolies are evil. state monopolies on guns are evil. self defense is 100% moral and legal, and rightfully so. people need defense insurance, especially in locations ran by anti gun da's, bcuz state monopolies on arbitration services (courts) are expensive, and even if u shoot someone justifiably, court and lawyer fees for criminal court will be expensive. court and lawyer fees for civil court wen the aggressor sues u for rightfully shooting him in self defense are expensive too.
youtube channels are moral and legal too. nothing wrong with him having his youtube channel, and gun people having theirs. hes able 2 pick up on nuance and detail in film, but notice how he completely ignores the obvious humor involved in the small gun channels hes criticizing.
gun crime in southside chicago is rampant due to drugs being illegal, and cuz chiraq has some of the strictest gun control in america. as far as gang crime goes, i wonder if fallopium films is ready 2 have a legit discussion on single motherhood and how it results in boys ending up in the hospital, in prison, or in violent gangs.
humans have a natural right 2 not be aggressed upon. america happens 2 acknowledge this right in the form of the 2A, which exists 2 stop authoritarians like fallopium films from disarming them. its important 2 call out statists like him. they will feign like they oppose guns, when in reality, theyre are all for guns... in the hands of rich powerful old white men only. he ignores that gun control requires state goons armed with guns, initiating force on innocent people.
red flag laws are simple: they violate the 2A as well as due process. they arent just ripe for exploitation and abuse. anyone thinking they wont be shows that they are shoving their head in the sand.
authoritarians like him hate doing their own dirty work. theyd rather outsource it so their hands can stay clean, sending goons from the state 2 disarm u than come do it themselves. they arent worthy of respect, and niether is fallopium films for his take here opposing natural rights.
this doesnt negate his other content tho, which i still hold in high regard, and which u should too. like hollywood actors tho, he should stick to entertaining us and keep out of politics, especially wen hes on the side supporting the violation of rights, which we will always remember when noting his takes on a given film or issue now
All of these arguments make the assumption I'm strictly on the left in every issue. My other videos, as well as me saying that I think people should be able to conceal carry in New York (I literally say it in this video) should tell you I'm not a partisan. I support the second amendment and I don't support taking peoples' guns in general. I literally tell a story of how owning a firearm saved me in a dangerous situation. All I'm saying is that it should be a little bit harder to attain one. Put in a few more speed bumps--not barriers to stop everyone--but bumps to slow the bad ones. It shouldn't be a controversial statement. But guns and abortions... I swear. It fogs people. I'm not proposing anything that grand or dramatic--this is a comedy video after all. All I'm saying is that the culture surrounding the topic on youtube and within the guns rights groups just seems a little too happy-go-lucky for my taste, a little too fantasy-obsessed. We are talking about tools made to end human life. This is important heavy stuff here. It's an issue that deserves a bit more than Kid Rock wisdom.
And yeah, I'd have a legit conversation on the impacts of single motherhood any day. Fatherlessness, poverty and crime form a vicious cycle in which many urban communities are trapped. Anyone with half a brain knows this.

U dont support infringements on free speech do u? It would be absurd 2 suggest that people had 2 write a 500 word essay and show proof of getting an A in English class before being allowed 2 express themselves online.
Advocating for such speed bumps wen it comes to gun rights is just as absurd.
Humans capacity 2 harm is the problem. Not guns. Guns exist 2 preserve life and property from aggression. This is why every society is guarded with guns, every politician is guarded with guns, and every soldier and cop is guarded wirh guns.
Citizens should have as much access to guns as politicians, law enforcement, and soldiers do.
Gun control might make u feel better, but it deprives people of their natural rights, and is ripe for abuse. No gun laws stopped the chicago shooter

Lawyers...am I right? Don't know for sure but something in me thinks that some middling overworked underpaid PD with a few friends on the police force thought "there must be an easier way to make money. I know, SD legal insurance. That's the ticket." Wouldn't it be ironic if the "expert" defense lawyers that you pay for with this insurance were the type of lawyers that graduated next to last in their law school class? Almost like cosmic irony.
Totally off this topic. Your "Fargo" essays are brilliant. Also, I think the 4th season philosophically flows seamlessly from the 3rd more than you realize. I think season 4 is the pay off for the setup in the last scene of season 3. Heck, maybe all the seasons. I thought of this after watching all your "Fargo" essays. So maybe you got it without knowing you got it; or, your season 4 essay was extremely Cohenesque and very clever much like the answer to the fox, rabbit, cabbage, boat, river problem. Either way, thank you for your excellent content.
