    great bit of work , i've done them myself using the old style 21ft ladder beams and the big 3m unit beams sections.

    Watched that all the way through. Just one question: why don't the top ties just go on top, with the boards straight on them?

      @@markrainford1219 they don’t fit that way as the doubles foul them clips make it flush if that makes sense

      @@Madscaffs Basic to advanced scaffolding towers would be great. Enter a firm well-prepared and with a strong understanding of the craft.

    Do a cantilever one. There nice and maybe one that show how to do a drop down (I forgot what it’s called)
    You got beams going a cross and you need to put another working lift on but it drops down under the beams, into a
    Parapet…
    I hope you know what Im trying to say , it’s hard to explain 👍

    If it wasn’t for impact guns I don’t think anyone would scaffold nowadays 😂 good video helps the young lads that don’t really get told this on street work or sites 👍🏻

      That’s what I thought mate help them learn. No one seems to do how to videos on scaffold.

      @@Madscaffs that’s true! I always tell young lads if you see a big scaffold thats up take 5 minutes and just look at it, you can learn a lot from looking, but a video they can watch on a phone is even better! 👍

      @@Madscaffs building a scaffold around a circular building or structure would be a good one,young lads always struggle with those. 👍

      @@Denscaff82 there is lots of different ways to do a splay collage way I don’t think is great but could do it how I was taught. Clip on clip not the towers and join them together like collage

    I just do tie tubes every 2 meters top and bottom. Tie tubing every 1 meter at the top does nothing but waste tube

    You wanna see what they want you doing on course now, plan bracing with 5s all the way down same way like 32 5s to a set of 8m beams 🤦

      Max span of 4.8m without a design too even with 8m beams

      You do it on swivels off the top cord, it's a right pain in the arse, it's honestly a nightmare

    Top cord is every 1.2 meters not a meter and bottom is every 2.4 meters

      @@caenmarshall1336 yeah true but since bay sizes are usually 2m for punch ups most just do the 1m and 2m so tie tubes land at punch ups as checks

      1.2 and 2.4 respectively are the maximum spacing for chords anything less than would only increase the strength of the structure unless overloaded with kit. Only have to work to tg20 if you can't provide a better alternative. Same example for transom spacings.. 1.2 max. There is circumstances you would smaller spacing in the real world.
