OMG thank you so much for posting this! I actually just need to remove the center console shifter bezel to swap it for one that isn't scratched up. This was so helpful, I'll be done with this job in like 5 minutes now!
THANK YOU! I had a shop do a full upgrade to my sound system and still keeping the stock radio on my 18 Murano... My subwoofer amp is under my driver seat but the speaker amp is In the middle console and needed to go in a tune a little.. didn't want to go back to the shop.
Thanks for going over such detailed step-by-step instructions on this Murano stereo panel removal. I bought a new 2020 Murano which shocked me it has no Navigation system. And my 2016 Murano does have navigation and the rest of the stereo system. Do you think I could swap the systems and make them both work again? Thank you!
Is the 2016 and the 2020 the same generation of vehicle ? If the dash does look exactly the same you may have a chance Here are my concerns if your nav stereo is “ premium “ and your 2020 is not the premium your going to run into the problem that the non premium has its small amp built into the stereo and the the premium has an outboard amp so that would be not compatible Second the new Murano provably doesn’t have a gps antenna Third you may have to have the dealership program the stereo to the new vehicle I usually recommend not to try factory stereo swaps due to the complexity’s of the systems
@@connectedcaraudio thank you so much for the points. I am pretty sure both Muranos have non-premium audio. From 16 to 20, Murano had a model upgrade in 2019. But it was toward the exterior looks in bumpers and lights. The stereo system has added Apple CarPlay connection which I believe is more at the software side. Lastly, I am glad you pointed out the stereo systems may need dealer programming afte the change over. I think I will wait a few years on this project. Thank you for sharing the knowledge.
My murano looks just like that (2017 non Bose with gps) but the back of the radio is different I'm trying to tap in the speaker wires from behind the radio and I cant figure it out.
I have a 2019 Murano SL. I have the subwoofer and 11 Speaker BOSE system. I feel as though it does not have enough sound depth. How can I improve my sound system without changing out the stereo system because it has my navigation, SXM and so forth?
The 2015 Murano has a great SDR radio. The software includes the ability to save 50 favorite artists and 50 favorite songs. The later radios have a paltry 8 of each. Very disappointing. My radio currently has an issue of the touchscreen flipping to various screens on its own. I fear it might be because my dog has drooled enough that’s it’s permeated around the bezel. Not sure there’s an easy fix.
Hello. Thanks for the great video. I swapped my Nissan Murano 2017 infotainment with 2018 unit with car play. Everything works great except control unit is not connecting to GPS and the clock shows wrong time. Any idea on what could be wrong?
Hey i have this exact same murano (non premium audio) model. I had my speakers all replaced but now im thinking about adding a little powered sub woofer for under the passanger seat. Would i be able to do this with the stock head unit?
Why would you want to remove the stock stereo when is actually better and has a bigger screen, unless is broken ....?? I would add a sub and replace the stock speakers for a better sound....

Do you know how to access the AC blender actuator, is it also from there like behind the radio ? Or somewhere else ?
