@darken6456 Why was Malenia a mistake? She's easier than Messmer and Consort Radahn. Just like any other hard boss: Learn the fight and switch up your tactics. I beat Malenia with no summon, no magic, no items or buffs.

People say this is torture but we endure cause the reward and adrenaline surge once you land the final hit is cloud 9 level. And once time goes by and you'd find yourself saying "hey that was awesome" or "that boss was the most fun"

It's just legitimately hard but there seems to be an answer to every attack he throws at you, it's just a matter of consistently responding to them. The lion, on the other hand, was just a bad boss fight. It looked cool af but half the challenge of the fight was wrestling with the camera to see wtf it's doing.
@@ronthorn3 It wasn't even the walls, but if you're close to him and locked on and he does those moves where he stands upright, then the camera just points up at the sky. I tried unlocking a few times, too, but again, it's just a struggle to use the right analog to keep him in frame while trying to stay mobile and sprint if I need to. Tbf with him being the first boss of the dlc and I hadn't played in so long, I do have a better hang of the game now, so maybe I might find him a bit more fun to fight if I tried now.
@@sammitch524 get a fckn shield, I have seen people use no shields, his fire attacks are super telegraphed and the brass shield blocks 100% of physical damage. In his 2nd phase all his snake attacks can be blocked with a shield other than the grab. Easy af.

tbf, at least he looked it up and changed his build to The Wall later on, and he already beat the DLC. So suffice to say he's still around the average player level.
Yeah it took me 1 hour to learn his moveset, all his attacks are easy to dodge, but he has many different moves and some are very similar which makes it hard to do perfectly. But it's a very enjoyable fight, right amount of difficulty imo.

Kai Cent was absolutely wholesome. That's the feeling that keeps us From Software players coming back for more. That thrill of killing a boss that's killed you a million times lol
after 200 tries using an ng+7 base game save as i only have 1 save file and dont want to start from scratch, i finally got the motivation to go and try the cat game STRAY.

As someone who has beeing playing since demon´s 09, messmer in his second try, but a stupid guy riding a bull over 15 trys XD But there is something to understand about streamers etc they´re content creator and they most care about the interactions in videos and streaming platforms than actually advance in to the game, so they´re doing well in that aspect
Honestly I think elden ring is a great souls game to start with. I ragequit DS3 after 30 minutes and then did every single boss in ER. The difference is in ER if you're struggling on a boss you can go somewhere else and upgrade or fight something else.

This boss was absolute torture to beat, but having to learn to dodge his move sets was undeniably fun. You learn to appreciate the absolutely creative choreography that went into designing his attacks and how much time and love was put into his whole fight in general. I did find death in the embrace of Messmer’s flame… but in the end, I also found victory.

Different people have different experiences. Skill, Build, Level and Stats all differ from each person. Seereax took hours trying to beat Messmer, but AfroSenju beat him in 2 or 3 tries iirc, he just had a better build and stats.
I was doing in co op with my friend (boss scaling increases in seamless co op unless u intentionally turn it down) we wanted to explore the castle area so he was the second boss we killed and latter found out that he was one of the endgame boss lol 😂
For me he’s tied with Midra at 3rd. Found Rellana a bit harder and the final boss leagues harder. Divine Beast was another semi difficult one but the rest were fine.
Usually, a boss will more or less line up with how you play by default. Some bosses will be easier because of how you play. Some will be much harder. If you play like Asmo, it's bonking. If you play like Mythymoo, he's all about dual wielding and dodging. Mythy is dumb good at these games innately for some reason. Idk lol.
Many of these people are exaggerating their emotions for the camera for sure. They also are making the fight way harder on themselves by not making use of other tools. Like getting more of the scadutree fragments into increase damage reduction (DR). There’s also flamedrake talisman +3 and flame protect me to make the damage he does to you much much less. He didn’t hit me for nearly close to as hard as he was hitting these guys. He wasn’t easy.. it still took me 30-40 minutes (no summons including no hornsent). But flame protect me and the flamedrake talisman make a huge difference in the number of hits you can take. Personally the only 2 bosses that were really tough for me were Relanna and Consort Radahn. They took about an hour and 2 hours relative and I got the biggest rushes when I beat them. It reminds me of why I’m such a fan of the souls games.

So I’m old af and kai cenat has only been on the periphery of my radar… But watching some of the highlights of him playing Elden Ring?! So much respect. If this is the type of humanity that the kids are celebrating nowadays, maybe not all is lost.
Recently beaten Messmer and it was the most satisfying without any gimmicks. Used bloodhounds fang, some buffs and learned when to dodge his attacks. But the first attack when you enter the room was the most annoying because if your timing is off you get hit with the ball or the explosion.
To those still struggling- Ultra Colossal Greatsword with Savage Lion Claw and Blood Affinity (or heavy then cast Blood flame) makes this fight quite easy.

I mean, it took me 20 mins to finish messmer before the nerf. And the nerf made the dlc so damn easy that it was not even fun to play with afterwards. Only asmon bothers me. The piece of sh.t gave up, after the nerf copied a cheese build and acted like he's any good.. The most pathetic one of them all.

I actually love it but feel how it’s so hard, his tells are so obvious but his posture is so on point, body still but stretches the spear back for but a second but after that when he attacks it’s so quick. Just unique and different than every other boss you face. I raged during this boss but can’t deny how beautiful his animations are, they made this so well

As someone that struggled with a few bosses in the DLC, I don't get how people struggled so much with this guy.
Like it wasn't "easy" but still
Different people have different experiences. Skill, Build, Level and Stats all differ from each person. Seereax took hours trying to beat Messmer, but AfroSenju beat him in 2 or 3 tries iirc, he just had a better build and stats.
I was doing in co op with my friend (boss scaling increases in seamless co op unless u intentionally turn it down) we wanted to explore the castle area so he was the second boss we killed and latter found out that he was one of the endgame boss lol 😂
For me he’s tied with Midra at 3rd. Found Rellana a bit harder and the final boss leagues harder. Divine Beast was another semi difficult one but the rest were fine.
I struggle with delayed attacks and all his attacks have a delay so I was getting shit on 😂
Usually, a boss will more or less line up with how you play by default.
Some bosses will be easier because of how you play. Some will be much harder.
If you play like Asmo, it's bonking.
If you play like Mythymoo, he's all about dual wielding and dodging.
Mythy is dumb good at these games innately for some reason. Idk lol.
Many of these people are exaggerating their emotions for the camera for sure. They also are making the fight way harder on themselves by not making use of other tools. Like getting more of the scadutree fragments into increase damage reduction (DR). There’s also flamedrake talisman +3 and flame protect me to make the damage he does to you much much less. He didn’t hit me for nearly close to as hard as he was hitting these guys.
He wasn’t easy.. it still took me 30-40 minutes (no summons including no hornsent). But flame protect me and the flamedrake talisman make a huge difference in the number of hits you can take.
Personally the only 2 bosses that were really tough for me were Relanna and Consort Radahn. They took about an hour and 2 hours relative and I got the biggest rushes when I beat them. It reminds me of why I’m such a fan of the souls games.

Recently beaten Messmer and it was the most satisfying without any gimmicks. Used bloodhounds fang, some buffs and learned when to dodge his attacks. But the first attack when you enter the room was the most annoying because if your timing is off you get hit with the ball or the explosion.

To those still struggling- Ultra Colossal Greatsword with Savage Lion Claw and Blood Affinity (or heavy then cast Blood flame) makes this fight quite easy.
