- Former adult movie star turned mainstream performer Traci Lords speaks with Larry King about her autobiography "Underneath It All" on his CNN talk show. Originally aired July 14, 2003.
Rest In Peace Larry King. Thank you for all of the great interviews you gave given us. 💛
She seems extremely strong minded, no wonder she's a survivor
Larry King needs to slow his roll on this one. As a seasoned interviewer, especially of somebody who has suffered this level of trauma, King could have paced his line of questioning with more compassion so that she could have relaxed into a more conversational tone in her responses. She may very well have some residual anger associated with Childhood PTSD, which makes perfect sense, but her so-called "anger" here appears moreso to be agitation on responding to King's tin-eared, indifferent, rapid-fire approach.
She's a very good lady she's a very intelligent lady and a strong lady .
One tough cookie is Traci,I feel guilty/weird but as a late teenager I discovered her adult movies, mainly her with Tom Byron getting it on, little did I know that she was 16 as she NEVER in a million years looked it,the way she got into the industry is so sad and I take my hat off to her,to be able to tell the story. The thing is,she was a major part of my teenage years,I'm now married with kids,I feel guilty, but as a red blooded male, part of me wants to thank her for those movies, but a huge part of me wants to hug her and take away all the crap that happened to her, obviously I can't do that!,I just hope she's all good now,the mid 80's were ages ago, times a healer, Good Luck to you Traci.
I've been looking for this episode for sooo long time. THANK YOU for uploading this!
She's a gorgeous lady and seems to be a great person, betrayed by her entourage while under age.
Hollywood porn...
She is s very unique personality like Marilyn Monroe. You cant help staring at her and listening to her speak about her life like Marilyn Monroe. I tried to push the Monroe phenomenon out of my life as I have my own life and was never into Hollywood. With her I got hooked on her life and death. I like the clothes of the 1960's and she wore a lot of nice clothes and had a thick shape that was accepted back then.
What a great survivor story, she is definitely something else, love you Traci!
She still has a ton of anger. I hope she is seeing a therapist. I feel bad for her. Obviously shes been through alot of bad stuff, but she deserves to be happy. And I think her anger will prevent her from having a successful relationship with anybody.
Beautiful Women 😍
Shows you how truly fucked Hollywood is
Traci... A very strong, intelligent, interesting, beautiful lady.
When Traci Lords make Interview like that read that Person her Book ?
I never told that to anyone, until now.
She IS girl power personified
Brutally honest. Respect.
Angry, and playing the victim. Sad. Definitely the "not my fault" generation
How is she not the victim? Raped at 10 I think qualifies as the victim!
