we just ordered ours after going back and forth quite a bit between this and quotes from local irrigation companies. the local guys were an average quote of $4500 for 4 zones and the irrigreen for 4 zones cost just under $3000. so for us it was definitely the better choice. cant wait for it to come in!
*This system literally solves every concern I've had when it comes to an irrigation system. 2 questions* 1) is pipe grading not a factor with this type of system? 2) Any chance you are available for hire for the installation? I'm in NW Indy
Didn’t use this system, but when I installed my irrigation I used a sod cutter and then a trencher. After install, backfilled, covered with the cut sod and it looked liked I was never there.
I would have bet you're going to install that particular sprinkler system. I already have a sprinkler system installed on three stations. Can you give me an idea of how much more that particular set would cost if I were to scrap what I have? Yes, sometimes I've got more dollars than sense. I have seen that put in on other videos and it does look super. It looks like it would finally solve my problem with heads not reaching all of my lawn. Please note I have only a small lawn but is broken up into three different sections of about 250 ft² a piece.
Hey! I got my irrigreen system but want to have someone do the install for me. Who do you recommend here in the Bloomington area? Glad you are back. Thanks.
Think you need to start with measuring psi or gallons per minute output; residential water diameter can vary a lot But planning where you put everything is the fun part If you dig below 4 feet then it’s under the frost line but shallow systems like this need to be blown out often to prevent freezing Many people need to get advisor to figure out the math on how water behaves when being split in zones; you can easily run into where the run for pipes can be too long and it would either need a pump or you split the zone up way too much and just need to make more zones

It puts the exact amount down that you need based on a certain flow rate. It actually takes slightly longer to get the amount down with this system than a traditional system so in turn I’m not sure how it would flood the grass
U.S. plumbing code requires either a PVB (used in this video) or RPz device for irrigation! A simple check valve is not a testable device by a certified backflow inspector.
There’s an adapter in the works to help with that. But I’m going to run these on my new yard when I sees anyway. I’ll show that on video when the time comes

This system for sure DOMINATES!
Seriously, that is the coolest sprinkler I have ever seen.
That system looks amazing! Definetly one of the better systems I've seen on RUclips without a doubt
I just placed my irrigreen system order!! I am so pumped! Thank you for these videos!!

I have an existing irrigation system that needs some maintenance, maybe I’ll see about changing over to this system. Great video!

Aw yeahhhhhh
Good morning
You rented the cheapest trencher I've ever seen. The one I've rented before is self propelled. I like your choice of schedule 40 pvc.
This one pretty much drives itself too
So yeah, I see this video just as I'm finishing up my regular 4 zone system with about 40 heads and a half a mile of pipe. Why do you hate me?
🤣😂
Does this system have a rain sensor?

No everything that was where we put the pipe was deeper fortunately!
For back-flow prevention, just install a PVC check valve in the main line after the time controller. That guarantees flow in one direction.
