Thanks, Apostle for the educative information. Just a few corrections the Entebbe raid / Operation Entebbe or Operation Thunder bold or Operation Yonatan took place on 4th July 1976. The Prime minister who was in office was Yitzhak Rabin not Netanyahu. But Yonatan Netanyahu older brother of the current Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu lead the special military rescue force. Five people were wounded but there were two deaths one was the leader of the special rescue force Yonatan Netanyahu older brother to current prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The second one was an elderly lady Dorah Block who was left behind because she was not together with the other hostages as she had choked on some food she was admitted at Mulago Hospital Kampala at the time of the rescue, so she was left behind and it was reported later that she was murdered that is what the media reported in 1976.

Rightly explained Gladys about the Entebbe Raid by Israeli Special Forces led by Yonatan Netanyahu and the plane they arrived in was parked at Embakasi Airport re-fueling and being serviced to wait for the return of the Commandos from Entebbe . Yes Dora Block was the old lady who missed the rescue and was later murdered by Idi Amin himself according to news that came out of Ugandan Newspapers & Radio broadcast at the time
