I am so proud to be an old time christian in fact 75 tomorrow and so proud to know I will be in Heaven with all the Christians ,thank You Jesus for being with me these 75 yrs and know we all will be together with our Savor Jesus Christ.
I can NOT sit still when I hear this. Toes tapping, hands clapping.
My late pastor and his late wife use to sing this. They sang it at my father's funeral by his request. The rest of us didn't know about the request and we were so surprised and pleased. It brought a smile to all of us.

An old time Christian must be Catholic then!?
No, definitely not. An old time Christian would be one which believes and actually walks the talk like Yeshua (Jesus). Before the Catholic church absolutely corrupted the faith with its infestation of remaining pagan rituals and rites and idol worship when the Roman Empire was made "Christian". I am certain you already know that as Rome adopted Christianity they simply slapped Christian names on their already pagan places of worship, temples, statues, and holidays. Easter, Christmas, turning the Sabbath to Sunday, the names of the days of the weeks and months are pagan names of false gods; all to make it more palatable for Romans. An old-time Christian is one who hears the gospel and like in the parable of the sower the gospel finds good and fertile soil in their hearts and germinates, takes root and grows and produces much fruit which itself will spread to other hearts. I hope that will help some. An old time Christian would be like the Messianic Jews today, Jewish folks who believe 100% in Yeshua as the Messiah foretold all throughout the "Torah" and prophets, especially in Isaiah (Yeshayahu).
