Most preachers need to take a lesson from 1Cor13:1; If I can speak with the tongues of angels ie as eloquently and divinely as an angel of God but dont follow the compassionate Samaritan's example of putting others' concerns and sufferings and needs before my own in life, all my wonderful preaching is like clanging cymbals and profits me nothing.
