I have seen Thulsi as big tall plant kept in the mud directly in many house at their backyard but now considering the current lifestyle and space we started to grow many trees in Pots and what aunty says it’s very useful.

On ekadesi also we shouldn't pluck the leaves.. should be done on the previous day itself.

Small விளக்கு can also be lit in front of tulasi madam. Lighting lamp in the morning and evening is v auspicious.. It can benefit the well being of one's mother as well. Those who have daughters can ask their girls to light lamp also. Kanya/ kanni / grahasthas all can pray to tulasi
