We trained for an hour, Mac stayed the entire time, encouraging his son, giving positive feedback the entire time. I remember his boy had this look of absolute joy on his face every time he'd do something well. Mac would just smile back and nod his head. We talked a bit afterwards. About us both being soldiers. Life, the struggle, he even took time to pose for pictures with regular patrons. I have nothing but the utmost respect for this man. Not because of his career accolades, but because given what he came from.........he beat the struggle. I wish Mac 10 and his family nothing but the best✌
