Had my machine for a year now, I tried your method with turning off auto cleaning, I was going to sell the machine since it was wasting so much white ink. The original owner told me the same keep the machine on they have several machines. I keep the machine on it circulate the inks I don't usually go pass 2 days without using the machine I do a medium head cleaning, then a nozzle check then print something small that requires white ink. Thanks
I shut off the auto on cleaner and the heads and had to always run a cleaning after doing a nozzle check, so I just turned it back on and saved my self the extra step.
Be careful, turning the auto cleaning off might result in clogging of your print heads. White ink clogs the heads easily, and having to fix that issue is very expensive. I have a F2000 and an F2100. My F2000 has been non operational for months now since the white ink clogged the heads. The F2100 prevents head clogging since it auto cleans. Also keep in mind to pay attention to your warranty of your printer. Once your warranty expires you wont be able to get your printer serviced for free anymore. Good luck folks.
We bought our printer used, January 2023. It arrived with WH1 and WH2 intact and WH3 and WH4 with a little bit of a flaw. Every day in the morning, you need to gently clean the white ink heads twice, otherwise nothing prints. We spent 4 days without doing this and the WH3 and WH4 heads were definitely clogged. I've already been told about air humidity, here it works between 45% and 55% with the air conditioning on, but when we turn off the cooling, the air unit goes to 75% and even then it continues to clog the heads of the white. Therefore, I believe that this air humidity issue may not be related to this clogging. I say this because I have just printed t-shirts with white ink, I do a print test on the heads and everything is ok, but the next day, even with the printer spending the night at 78% air humidity, the head clogs.
Yes, after some days depending how hot it is can definitely clog up your machine. I use it everyday and everyday before i begin to use it i have to do a light clean on the machine so it fires all nozzles correctly. Sometimes a medium clean is needed. Honestly i dont have the humidty or anythjng calculated and dont really use it. And havnt had a problem yet after all these years of using it. Other than user error.
I leave my printer epson F2130 always on & save mode 5min. so far for 150pcs full color image my white ink both finish around 1 mth. I did used a voltage stabilizer too, so that my printer didn't have the sign tempreture pop up.
Great video man. How do you cancel the opening lid sensor? Be wary of the flushing box/pad. It gets congested very fast and when it dries, the ink sits on top and can cover your whole print head. Waiting on mine to get serviced now /= but thanks for this tip man. GREAG video
Thank you! We just found your video and are considering turning off the Auto Clean on our F2100, and just do a light clean or two after the nozzle check, if/when needed. We always do the head cap cleaning at shutdown. We are wondering if turning off the auto clean could clog the tubes... How has it worked out for you since you turned it off? Have you run into any issues? Have you seen a decrease in the amount of ink used / wasted? Thank you! 😊
Good info. what's the ambient temperature like where you keep your printer? I keep mine in my warehouse as there's no room in my office, plus I didn't want to keep my heat press in here too. I got my printer just a couple months ago and using a lot of ink. I was told to just keep it on. I do worry, however, that my warehouse is too warm and will dry up my heads if I leave it off. FYI i'm in souther california, it's HOT here during the summer. I can surely do this when it cools down though.
eagle printing hello sorry for the super late response haven’t been much on here. But all i do is set it to level 6 and leave everything how it is. Make sure you are putting enough pretreatment
Hi! Thank you so much for the info. I’ve got an Epson f2100 too and I’m looking for white alternative inks to avoid this amount of waste. I barely have it for a year and I just ran out my fourth kit of two cartridges. Anyone have any experience with alternative ink on this printer? Thank you so much ❤️
i just use the white from epson, i have not tried any other brand, i have heard some bad stuff about it honestly ill just stick with the original epson ink
omar alvarez if you have the client based or are in an area where there is a lot of foot traffic then yes i recommend it. But if you want to start off out of the blue and dont have much experience then i wouldn’t recommend this atm for you. Until you have a good client base
i had the same issue when i first purchased the printer. The dumb ass guy "company" who i bought the printer from should not be reselling epson printers if they do not know that the power on cleaning should be off..... you pretty much do a nozzle check and you see which colors need cleaning but epson also recommends to just do a light head cleaning every day and it keeps the print head working properly and it only cost a few quarters a day to do this. Also never turn off your printer always leave it on even if you do not use it for a month or 2 because the white ink recirculates in this printer and i myself left the printer alone for like 2 months or 3 and i came back and all i did was a Medium head cleaning and the printer printed a perfect nozzle check and it was back to normal which i thought was insane in a good way! other printers would have dried out the white ink lines or print head for sure. i know brother gtx after a week or 2 of not using it would deff damage the print head!
Yesssss exactly!!! Thats what i be trying to tell people but they dont believe me, they think just because the rep told em not to do that (wich they do so so you can keep buying ink from them) they get scared and dont do it 🤦🏻♂️ some people dont understand
@@elsenordelasplayeras yup you know wussup! They want that ink money. the resellers do not own the machine they just sell them so they do not know everything about it. like for example have you ever had a problem when you try to print a file and it resets the printer? like it says Resetting printer.... please wait? if you ever come across that problem let me know and i will help you fix it... epsons techs do not always know what to do. they just play a guessing game of changing parts and sometimes your printer will be in worst condition then before they replaced those parts...
Yes that is correct. It did that a couple of times to me but, its like a regular printer, i had it connected to a usb extender and it kept doing that to me and i had to reset my whole computer and printer. But now i just have it plugged in directly to my pc no extensions just directly to it with a small cable and it hasnt given me any problems since then.

hello yes all i have to do now if i turn it off is just run a small light clean and its back up to printing as long as you clean it correctly

Oh Man!!!! 5 years w f2000.... I would save so many ink if I knew this before.....
do you mind sharing your settings in your garment creator? i like how your white underbase came out unlike mine.
Thank you

Don’t pay cash use a credit card to get the points. Then write it off from your income as an expense
Thank you, very informative ;)
Really helpful thank you 😊
This is true but isn’t the best to do on a 15k machine.
it doesnt matter, as long as you maintenance it and do a light clean before use
