      @@r.rodriguez4991 I had to re-watch to see. I thought he was only using it for the 45°s, but he's using more than just a ruler for the 90°s. Such quick film cuts and zoom in made it hard to tell.

      If you noticed he used gauges and cut the inside of the line. The line itself is as accurate as the gauge. Hard to believe a person could fuck it up with 94 lines as a guide. The size of the marker tip has nothing to do with it at all he never even cut the mark. You know why? I sure hope so.

    Most construction sites won't let you take the time to do all that fancy measurement. They will just want the pipe welded to the tubing. Still great show of skill.

      Theres a time and place for everything. Id appreciate having this on a coffee table. Just 4 corners with this joint, some black paint, and a glass on top so you can appreciate whats underneath and this would be enough for me

    This method is to bend each pipe by 90 degrees, so it is determined to fold the stem, 45 degrees each, and the circumferential length of one-third of the circular pipe is indicated on the circular pipe. Put it on both sides and draw a circumference.
    The remaining 1/3 circumferential length is divided into half and half around the vertex.
    If the sum of the circumference shown on each pipe does not match, extend the length of the straight line from the vertex to both sides to match.
    When you fold it at 90 degrees, you have to decide how to meet it.
    This person made a paper ribbon and used it to make it comfortable.
    이 방법은 각파이프를 90도 꺽기 때문에 접을 꼭지검을 정하고, 45도 씩, 선을 양쪽으로 긋는다 원형 파이프의 1/3의 원주길이를 그 원형 파이프에 표시한다 이걸 양쪽 각도선에 맞춰 놓고 원주를 그려 놓는다
    나머지 1/3 원주길이는 꼭지점을 중심으로 반반 씩 나눠서 표시한다
    만약 각파이프에 표시한 원주의 합이 일치하지 않는다면 꼭지점에서 양쪽으로 직선의 길이를 늘려서 맞추면 된다
    90도로 접었을 때 만나는 부분까지 어떻게 할지 정해야 이게 된다
    이 분은 편하게 하려고 종이본을 만들어 사용했다
    이걸 알아보기 위해, 각파이프 대신, 종이에 각파이프의 접히는 면을 선으로 그리고, 끼워 놓을 원형 파이프를 콤파스 등을 이용하거나 종이를 오려 만들어, 3등분한 점으로 표시해 각파이프 그림에 사용하면 됄 것 임

    I have an old elementary school guy friend who does similar work like this. It sort of reminds me of him. Lost contact years ago after we both moved to different locations, him to another state. I hope he’s doing well.

    I usually cut the piece at 45 weld it then cut the hole. Takes about 5 minutes. Good luck with that though.

    Problem is it don't have enough meat on the back side so the welds will break or the mefal will just separate if the load pressure is to much, build a trailer or anything of the sort doing this will most likely will not work

    That was very skillfully done and with simple tools. That is the kind of stuff I do for a living but primarily with aluminum and I would just do that using the band saw with a wood blade in it. That is definitely top-notch though! Pun intended. LOL

    Turned out WAY better then I anticipated haha.
    I thought "with THAT width of a marker you are never going to create a fitting end result - was I wrong..."
    I still would have used a proper steel marking needle as I like to do or at least some measuring calipers and use it's pointy tip to scratch a thin line into the metal...

    Слишком много операции ради кусочка задней стенки, на фетиш всем пофиг. Торцануть коронкой и сварить гораздо проще, а главное быстрее. Время - деньги.

      Бюджетные инструменты (сварочный аппарат и болгарка), есть у большинства людей, а вот коронка - это уже роскошь, которую используют редко. Если кто-то варит такие соединения каждый день, то да - коронка выгодна, а если же нужно на один раз, то такой способ куда выгоднее.
