Coming out of a famility with a lot of doctors, my father having worked as emergency doctor here in Germany, stuff like that happens more often than most people would think. High speed car crashes, especially with semis and heavy loads involved, leave pretty gruesome sights. As in, some poor sod has to walk down the last kilometre of Autobahn or so with a bucket or bag and collect the person that got spread over it.
The second crash legit gave me flashbacks of a video where that exact thing happened with a pickup and the driver also survived, I don't know if it's a very accurate coincidence or what 😂

Those pipes should honestly have more mass. They wouldn't just bounce off a car like that. It should almost completely split the car and negate its momentum.

Hey man, how do you capture the clips from beamng? What screener ecording software or whatever do you use? I use bandicam, and the result is usually kinda low quality
@@nar0. I have no idea how BeamNG's replay system works, but if latent frame time or a low frame rate can cause a replay to record improperly, recording in slow motion would improve your frame rate, since even at half speed your computer has twice as much time to do the same amount of work.

How do you set up these crashes? I have tried using the ai traffic tool but its just a mess because the second you look away from an ai car it immediately despawns.
You can spawn cars yourself, and then if you go into the "UI App" menu at the top of the esc menu, you can add an app, and then find the "AI Controller" app. Add it somewhere that it doesn't obstruct your other instruments, and then optionally disable it in cockpit view if you don't want it to bother you in first person. Once you have this UI app, the current vehicle you are focused on can be set to chase, follow, flee, traffic (they won't despawn if you manually spawn them, but traffic density gets a lot lower since they don't teleport near to you), and there's also span and random. Span I believe tries to cover ever path on the map, and random choose routes at random. Check out the other apps you can add to the UI, lots are useful for making cinematic things happen.
Never shall I ever use a portopotty set up next to the highway. Also nice touch on the truck being a jackass and weaving through traffic. Feels right at home here in KC

You can record driving paths for each of the ai drivers. I dont know if this is how they do it but its one way of doing it.
