You have to feel for Humphries. Just won the Worlds, massive adrenaline dump and then has to go out and perform with everyone expecting him to reach another final or win. The guy needs a month off.

I get the impression that Luke Humphries may be THE most unliked british Champion ever. Barely has a match where the crowd cheers him on instead of whistling and booing, even when playing in England.
Strange, as he comes across as a really great pleasant fellow in interviews

It's psychological. When you already achieved your main goal (winning the WC) it can be difficult to find the same motivation to do it again. This is what seperates MVG and Taylor from other world number ones

We saw the same with Michael Smith last year. You win the World Championships and suddenly your focus and drive isn't the same anymore, because you already achieved what you wanted to achieve

Yea, I feel for him too. Can't flex my arm without my elbow moving to the left due to sholder injury. Useless to play darts but for me personally even more gutting that I can't play tennis or basketball. Working with physical therapy so I have hope for myself but if it doesn't go I will need to become left handed :D

Please stop with the titles and thumbnails. I live in the States and can almost never see it live and you ruin it for all of us. Just show all the players on a thumbnail and use the name of the tournament for the title. Basic stuff here.

at the time this tournament was organised (end of last year) it's for the top 24 ranked, i think littler at the time was 65th.

@@user-ii4sk3zy6b yeah, Jesus is real, nothing is a coincidence, i should of died in a hospital bed. long story short, ive been given a second chance. and now i know the love of god. i haven’t been influenced, or forced. god is real, and all i had to do was pick up a KJV bible and read it for what it is. and it all made sense. i wasted so much time, gaming and going off my own understanding about life and why were here, its wasted years of my life just because i wanted to stay in the same sinful habits and not listen to anyone and just being ignorant. who cares what people think, Christ is the way, the truth and the life. if the witnesses of jesus can be prosecuted with a smile on there face. what they saw was TRUE. happy and smiling while your dying and going through pain. crazy. thats more than enough evidence. and we see the same thing today. the bad people don’t want to listen. workers of satan. they hate the truth and don’t want people to know it. theres a loving god and heaven.
