Quedo muy bien
Ooh, beautiful plants! Can’t wait to see what you do with them! I’m sure it will be amazing!
👌👌👌👌
Hi Mark, nice video. I think you can also add a fascicularia bicolor, it would be a great addition to your arid gravel desert 😊.
Sago Palms are a must have for Jurassic theme garden
Arid jungle garden you mean 😂 beautiful plants can't wait to see it finished
Great selection, Mark! That yucca rostrata is a beast! Your aloe striatula should be root hardy to -20⁰C but will need some protection from prolonged frosts if you want to keep the height.
Trachycarpus and not arid palms. In fact their water needs are actually high due to coming from relatively high altitudes of up to 2,400m.
Yes fair point David, thanks. I'm definitely mixing it up a bit.
@@MarksHouseandGardenUK Don't get me wrong it works. But just be mindful of the palms watering requirements.
I'm in Chesterfield Derbyshire, my yucca rostrata has been out in rain, wind, sleet and snow for the last four years and still looks as good as the day I bought it, so has my large cycass the leaves die every winter but they've always grown back so far.
Hi Mark,
Just a mention, my hubby just purchased x2 small Trachycarpus from B&M for £37.50 each. They also got yucca, cordalines, Olive tress in. Just thought of you me duk. 🌴🌱🪴🫒
Ah thanks Julie. I've found the two trachies we got from BM have done very well. Might have a wander down there this weekend. Mark
