What is a Church Community?

For the members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, going to church is more than just an hour or two, once a week. I have a friend whose husband just died. She does not have a lot of friends in town and she does not go to a church. Her husband was out of work when he passed and it has left her with little money. She did not have a lot of friends in town did not have a lot of support. The LDS church has stepped right in helping with a service project and doing whatever we can to help. The community of the church helps offer a support system that helps ANYONE in our community.
