is there a relation between higher ram usage and the rx 580? all the games tested show about 1-2gb of extra use in the RAM, can you track this to the games themselves? the difference in performance (1-4% at best) seems much less than the difference in RAM usage and other resources. Makes the bench feel inconsistent.
If u don't have VRAM the game will use from DRAM.
hello friend, actually the performance of the RX 570 can be optimized again right, because I have Ryzen 5 2600x and RX 570 8gb and mobo Msi gaming plus B450m components which are lower than the components you have, lastly I played FFVII remake, GOW (without Fsr) and Wacthdogs Legion, and finally Plagua a tale requim (with Fsr mods), all setups with 1080p high except for shadow (normal or medium), I get normal fps is 50 to 60, rarely hits 30fps, and if you have a monitor that supports it, maybe you can use freesync + HDR, and activate the AMD Smartaccess memory feature in the BIOS menu and in the AMD adrenaline tuning menu (you can find the method on RUclips), and feel the difference bro, thanks

Because I have the same pc, with rx570 8Gb, and the game stutters and freezes like hell with the latest updates, before it didn't have so many problems, but I run it on a hdd.
I play forspoken and I don't have as many problems like this, imagine.
Game is on hdd and i have lag to because of hdd. When i move game on ssd no problems.
Freeze and lag is only during the first few seconds of the game, then it runs super smoothswith fsr on.

I'd say so, the 480 is comparable to the 980/1650 Super, you may struggle a little bit in newer games due to the older architectuer of the CPU tho, but overall it is fine
