Nice art. Lil Sis, those strand/particle board panels release toxic off gases from the glues/production process that include including formaldehyde, hydro-cyanide and others. The toxins in the glues of those boards can off gas from 20 years to as long as they exist. That's one of the reason a lot of homes owners were suing and/or filing insurance claims against builders and contractors because the construction materials were causing severe medical issues, allergies to cancers... So while you think you're doing something good for the environment and unique in the art world (there is nothing new in the art world except tech), curators, collectors and gallerists are going to side eye the use of those boards and/or what your prep and sealing processes are. Again, our aesthetic and technical abilities are great! The particle board panels will be a cause of concern... [Yes, I'm professional artist/designer (40 yrs) and independent curator.]
