Experience always shows. It's amazing the number of diesel owners who think water doesn't affect them. Hydrolocking affects both petrol and diesel engines.
Had a good laugh at the e-bike guy, watched it 4 times already and it's just as funny as the first. That wheelie before he went into the water, then thrusting through the water only to end up crashing into a car, those kids laughing, all of it. Too much! 😂
I must say, his immediate reaction of "any damage i will pay" gives this man an immediate thumbs-up in my mind. Most people would have started by blaming someone/something else. The "i messed up and i will take full responsibility" attitude is quite a refreshing change compared to the ebikers i know personally...
It might not have been the water. It might have been the jaw droppingly awesome wheelie and the way it slammed into the wet stuff with him hilariously trying to look in control.
That guy on the homemade E-bike is the gift that keeps on giving. Seen him before on youtube and he was dancing and splashing all over the place. Looked more like a stranded electric eal than an E-bike.
The guy on the electric bike thick as two short planks, wreaked a bike that cost around £3000 pounds, goes into the white car, after he's gone in the water with his bike you could not make it up.
@@MrScotia you'll be stunned about how expensive high power e bike stuff is, even if assembled at home. One of these e bike frames is more than 500€, a nice dual crown fork sets you back more than 1000, shock quickly goes way beyond 300 and a set of downhill discbrakes is another 300. Now you've blown past 2000€ and haven't even touched any electric stuff.
Not an e-bike, illegal unregistered electric motorbike. E-bikes you have to pedal, and are speed limited to 25km/h for assist, with a 250W motor limit.
@@UnderWarranty Nice jump to conclusions there. It's actually people who wear grey clothing that steal the most, whenever you see them you should report them.
First thought, that's NOT an e-bike. It's an illegal, unregistered, electric motorbike. No pedalling, throttle control and far more motor that is legal. That's a hefty fine, and points on any driving licence they may have. His "I'll pay if there's any damage" is because he knows if the Police arrive he's in real trouble. These frankenstein bike conversions or dodgy imports are a real safety issue as they can do huge speeds with brakes not designed for the speed or weight of the converted unit.
Nice to hear a cyclist offer to pay for any damage, though since he’s technically a motorbike rider that’s probably why he accepts responsibilty for his actions. 😊
"proper" e-bikes are water tight. They not a submarines, so they not survive underwater for long, but these amount of water (30-40cm) usually do not make any problems

That's no fail that's a epic fail, If the appalling wheelie and water spraying all over him from behind wasn't bad enough he takes a nose dive into a car while everyone is filming it, what a utter eejit 🤣
That red gate you see there was installed a few years ago, at a cost to the local councils somewhere in the region of £65,000. The locks have been broken many times. It's usually closed off when the water isn't particularly deep, and open when it is deep! You can actually drive around the gate (where the bicyclist crashed)
Who checks the depth of the water they're driving through by opening the door? I wonder if he's friends with the guy who thought it was a good idea to blast through water on an e-bike?
Old boy in the Audi showing everyone how it's done.
Yup! It's the young lads who think it will be no prob!
Experience always shows. It's amazing the number of diesel owners who think water doesn't affect them. Hydrolocking affects both petrol and diesel engines.
The only mistake he made was opening the door to check the water level! 😂

0:28 - It's a good job he explained what the problem was, or we might never have known.
I mean he only assumes it's water, we can't know for certain though
Was it water that caused the battery to cut out? Id never have guessed. 😂

£3,000 pounds? The bike looked like a home-made pile of crap.

I thought it looked home built, especially as he carried a screwdriver to take it apart. The use of non-sealed connectors also suggests home built.
I've never seen a bald 9 year old before.
I have. In hospital. Very sad. 😔
"Have you seen that Rufford thing on RUclips?!" Gold! 😂
That guy with a E-Bike real clown.
His wheelie was mightily impressive. Then it all went embarrassingly downhill very quickly
