That's why Santa Anita Park is called that!! It's a Legendary Race Track that holds lots of fun people and historic memories!! Like Zenyatta's Magical Win against the boys and so many more!! Just a Fantastic Place to Visit!!
I been to the Great Race Place a few times and its a gorgeous track!! I really hope it stays open for a while and it doesn't have the same demise as Golden Gate fields!!
Granted it’s a fantastic looking track. But without money from gaming the future is not bright. Compare the field size and purse money with Oaklawn Park. Oaklawn has tripled its purse money in ten years, to 60 million. It’s just the way racing is now.

They need those Horse Racing slot machines! Without that...California tracks cannot compete with eastern tracks....
