well thats the one and only video that explains perfectly why u cant use all levers on all bikes (s1r&rr) thanks guys, now i understand the issue. too bad i live in europe, otherwise i wouldve ordered something from your store. still appreciate the video!
Here a note. If you have had the clutch lever/ perch recall done on your 2014 or older model, you might now need the B-22H adapter. With the recall work complete the bike now has a (2015-up) clutch lever on it. Meaning it also has the larger diameter bolt. Easy check is. OEM clutch lever off, if you can push the bushing/collar out by hand you'll need our part# B-22. If the bushing is pressed into the lever you'll need our Part# B-22H, just like it's explained in the video
very clear and easy install. Just need the right tools. I used sockets instead of the wrench. Good to know about the cruise and quick shifter. I would have likely bent those had you not emphasized them. Thank you +1 thumbs up
Hi there, I have b-22h clutch lever for my 2017 s1000r with cruise control. Can you please what size of the longer screw because mine is missing when I purchase second hand.? Thank you
Would i be able to put a clutch lever end onto the brake side? Obviously the mounting parts are different as one takes a cable and one works the hydraulics for the brakes but i am only talking about the lever bit that comes in different colours. I only ask because mine is scuffed and i have seen a cheap lever but don't want to buy it to find out i can't. I know the adjuster can be flipped but are the lever ends the same on both sides?
Short answer is yes, as long as its a Pazzo Racing lever. Other brands are not compatible with our adapters. Our Blades are universal to fit on all our adapters. I hope that answers your question. If not just send us an email (sales@pazzoracing.com) and I will explain further.
Just bought a slightly used pair of Pazzo folding levers (almost new) for my S1000R. The folding mechanism is extremely tight, but Im sure they will fold in a crash... Just wondering if they're supposed to be that tight? I've tried others (don't know the brand) that you could pretty much flick up with one finger...
It's important to remember that the folding levers are designed for racers. The design is such that they will likely fold up upon impact to spare the rest of the assembly, and potentially your hand. Too loose and it could cause issues when making fast and or jerky movements while the Brake or Clutch lever is pulled in. The last thing one would want is another "surprise" variable in an already reactive situation.
Sounds about right:) Better too tight than too loose ;) Anyways... Levers are installed and the clutch now feels like it's supposed to feel. Stock lever was horrible. + it now looks waaay better. Thanks!
I own the company and if you go directly to the PazzoRacing.com website there is a Red Powder coated option. www.pazzoracing.com/build_step2.html. Just follow the pull down menus to the next page and you'll see it in the lower left hand corner. Trust me I know, I put it there.
Just installed these on my 2016 replacing cheap Chinese levers. The good: Easy install and my cruise control works again The bad: The price. The machining marks are horrible. The cheap Chinese levers look a lot better. The red is not red, it is burgundy. I can't think of a bike these would match. If you are ordering to match red, do not do it, order plain black instead.
R. S. You should maybe have gone with the Red Powder coated option instead. It's a bright Ducati red if you're trying to match colors. Machining marks are what is called a jeweled finish. It's actually takes longer and costs more to do them like that. It gives them a zebra stripe effect when the sunlight hits the levers at a certain angle. So hence they are machined like that for a reason.
There isn't a red powder coated option on their website. And the finish doesn't look like any of the examples I see when I google "jeweled metal finish". There is no pattern to the marks, they just look like back and forth marks left by machining the part. The marks weren't a surprise, but they do look cheap and not quite finished.
sorry, I go to your website, and do your "build and buy lever" tool and there is not a powder coated red option. The only options are "GOLD LEVER, BURGUNDY RED LEVER (NOT DUCATI RED), SILVER LEVER, GREEN LEVER, BLACK LEVER, BLUE LEVER, and TITANIUM LEVER". Maybe if there are more options you should update your website instead of keeping them a secret. I did my homework, maybe you should hire someone to build a better website. How about you post a link to your powder coated products?
Superb video. Thanks for demystifying the whole CC/QS microswitch issue.
Thanks for that video you the first person who showed it to us
Excellent instructions, clear audio, clean video. Thanks!
Thanks for the video! Perfect instructions. Took about 5 minutes to do both levers on my S1000R. Great levers!
Very easy. Thanks for pointing out the microswitch details. I guess it can be too much for excited first time installers...
