- Watch as the Tampa Bay Lightning honour their captain Steven Stamkos on reaching 1000 career points, becoming the first player to do so in their franchise history.
Thunder Bug giving the gold mini sticks to Stammers kids was absolutely adorable
Steven smiling nervously while watching Kuch and his mother. always gotta stay vigilant when Kuch around.
Showing respect to true greatness. Can’t believe the bolts ever wanted to trade him. He’s been our best player since 2009.
Never in a million years would they trade. Irreplaceable!! Might never get a guy like him ever again once his career is over
2018 Kucherov took that personally. 🫣
(Kidding by the way, absolutely love Stammer. He’s the heart of our team.)
🇬🇧⚡⚡⚡⚡💙💙💙
@@BP21_ Stammer and Kuch dynamic duo since the 2015-2016 season
they never did want to trade him, only fairweather fans and fans of other teams said that he should be traded after all his injuries. any fan that has been watching his whole career knew that he always came back strong after his injuries
What a nice gift to Stammer's kids from ThunderBug! So thoughtful of him
Congratulations Stammer! Love the mini-sticks for his sons, classy organization. GO BOLTS!!
Absolute beauty. Loved watching his career throughout the years and hope it continues for years
As a Ontarian who fell in love with Tampa after going to a game in March 2008 while on vacation in Orlando, little did I know we were months away from drafting my favourite bolt of all time. Thanks for everything Steven.
@Enola Gay Your being a total child right now lmao!
@@hockeyguy5619 Wait until they hear my dad’s a French Canadian who’s cheered for the Habs all his life🤯😂Also I should’ve specified in 2008 I was 8 years old.
@Enola Gay Looking back I’m happy I didn’t hitch my wagon to a team who hasn’t won a round since 2004, simply because I live close. Also 2008 was was 14 years ago not 10 you goof
@@hockeyguy5619 They played the Isles and won 8-5, Vinny scored a hat trick. What kid wouldn’t have a blast
@enolagay9502 the leafs are trash
Everyone always says barkov’s underrated. Sometimes it feels like stammer’s underrated. When healthy he’s an absolute legend out there.
Congratulations 👍👏🙌👐🤲💐🥳🎉🎊🥂🍾🎇🎆 Steven Stamkos Well Done.
Right up there with Ovi, Gretzky, Howe, Jagr, Messier, Lemieux etc as greatest goal scorer of all time! I have a feeling this won't be the end and players around the NHL will say their congrats as well since only 95 people in the last 105 years have hit this mark and of course his 500th goal is right around the corner too. One of the many guys who I grew up idolizing and still do today as a grown man since I have watched every season of his except his rookie season (2008-2009) since I didn't know what Hockey was until late 2009 lol.
more like step below!
only Crosbi and Ovi are right up!
and McDavids next.
@@MyAlexWest Ovi and Crosby have been in the league longer bud 3 years longer. And McDavid like Crosby has a a completely different playing style. Pick up a book and educate yourself of the type of playing styles these guys have rather than just stats
@@ethanparker7900 he is not getting younger!

as far as style concerns!
buddy, you have gold fish memory span!
you have just compared Stammer to Gretzky and Messier? obv, you have no idea about styles
or hockey.
take care !

@@MyAlexWest I never said he was getting any younger captain obvious cause your right he's not but he isn't slowing down either when it comes to his productivity you are clearly the one who has the memory of a goldfish cause you say he ain't getting any younger and being ignorant to the fact he's not up there inching close to some of the greatest goal scorer and one of the greatest captains of all time and not realizing the fact that despite his advanced age, he still putting up 40 goals a year. Of course he ain't gone a pass Gretzky hell I don't think he even wants to but he still got it. I bet once he retires he'll probably end with somewhere between 600-650 goals which obviously isn't very far from Gretzky's 894 or Messier's 694 and where some of the all time greats are. And your prolly just saying that cause he's had like 3-4 significant injuries in late 2013, early 2016, late 2016 and early 2020 respectively and my take on that is who cares? Injuries are apart of the game. Some get lucky and avoid them but not everyone does. And yes I am way smarter than you think with playing styles such as goal scorers, playmakers, checkers, enforcers, etc and your just being a narcissist who doesn't realize the greatness in some of the people currently playing and take them for granted instead.
Unbelievable! Sincere congratulations!!!
Unforgettable Moment!
Holy hell Stanmer looks exactly like his dad haha
Haha they are identical
what a legend ⚡⚡⚡🇬🇧
Seeing Stamkos junior with the stick makes me think that in 10 years or so we'll hear about him tearing(I think that's the right spelling) it up in the minors.
I want to see him practicing his slap shots on the driveway like Ovi's kid
against ovi son. who is a bit younger
Congrats stammer. Well deserved. I'm no tampa fan but I was cheering that you hit this remarkable milestone. Congrats
@Enola Gay so that's like almost the entire NHL you can't respect. So soft
@enolagay9502 what about me I'm british and a lightning fan
Legend future HOF
Absolutely Sir
Congratulations Steven
That’s AWESOME!
stamkos mom looks pretty young!
if he didnt get injured as much he'd be fighting for most goals in a career but stammer will say the adversity made him a better player
Next up 500 goal milestone
hit it!
