Amis is the biggest group of indigenous people in Taiwan. They mainly reside on the east side of Taiwan. This song is sang in their own language, which is neither mandarin nor Taiwanese. As far as I know, Amis stands for “the north”, which was called by another group of indigenous people living in the south eastern part of Taiwan. Hope this belated info was helpful haha

自認為阿美族的傳統服是原住民中最為亮麗鮮艷的.倘若以改良式的服裝表演...我建議可統一服裝，因如此才能展線出服裝的特色~
