- There’s no denying Green Day’s legacy in the skate scene is anything less than iconic.
So, to celebrate “The Saviors Tour”, it was only right to drop a skate film, soundtracked by classics from “Dookie” and “American Idiot” and (a future classic) from their new album “Saviors” - with exclusive footy of our all-star Monster Energy skate crew.
Skaters featured: Nyjah Huston, Jake Yanko, Giovanni Vianna, Gabriel Fortunato, Filipe Mota, Jhancarlos Gonzalez, Fabiana Delfino, Liam Pace, Kieran Woolley, Matt Berger, Tom Schaar, Ruby Lilley, Yam Behar, Rune Glifberg, Trey Wood, Elliot Sloan, Moto Shibata, Cocona Hiraki, and Edouard Damestoy.

I love how they chose a song from each of the three eras of Green Day’s history. Longview from Dookie, when Green Day hit a popularity boom. American Idiot’s title track, when they SUCCEEDED at being a political band. And finally, Bobby Sox from Saviors, Green Day has met their legacy era. This badass skating video is an awesome way to showcase that.
Also how it went with the "evolution of skating" first song just street later a pool a the most recent one vert and big air , it was a nice detail for me
I grew up skateboarding and Green Day has been my favorite band my whole life. This little film is a film I never knew I even needed.

Greenday and skating obviously goes well together, but this was a weird conglomeration of skaters, good music, and - this is the weird part - corporate sponsorship.
The guy walking in the beginning looked like he was motion captured!, and if you don’t know what I’m talking about, it’s a movie technique that a person has to put like dots all over their body to do animations for a character, thats what reminds me of
