So true! My dad was nice to everyone and I respected him for that. Everyone you meet is made up of a combination of everything that has happened to them and their advantages and disadvantages. While some overcome the many disadvantages they have had, others seem to be mired in them. Yet, we don't always know the whole story behind why. Tomorrow is always a new day and who knows but that your kindness gave them just the boost they needed to step up and overcome those disadvantages. At the same time I caution that there is a difference between kindness to another human being and being a pushover to be made to feel obligated to help everyone that asks us.

An open mind and heart helps you to hear the things you need to. If you are only listening to the things you want to hear, you will never learn!

I consider the title of Larry's story, "A Simple Success Story"... Some people are brillient enough to become wealthy beyond belief... But they're content with living a simple life... And as they say, "You never see a U-Haul behind a hearse."

Hahahaha. I like that saying. "You never see a U'Haul behind a hearse." I'll have to remember that one. :)

Had I listened to him at bed time, I wouldn't have been able to fall asleep. My mind would've been racing with thoughts. :)

It's terrifying to think about. I think it all starts with parents. I'll probably eat my words when my son gets older. hahaha. :)
