Hello Dave and Camera Lady. Hello Portsmouth Tarantulas and thank you so much for helping our Dave and Camera Lady. It does the heart good to see the support in the hobby. 💛🖤💛Maybe there is hope for mankind yet 😂. Disappointing that this GBB was still not able to produce a viable sac. Maybe she is just not meant to be a mum. I was wondering, Dave, do they have your Mossy Frogs 🐸 as well? I am happy for you that things are moving along. It will be nice to get back to a constant schedule. Y’all take care of each other and be safe. 😊❤♥️🖤💛🥰
These videos out of the Beastie Room are awesome! Especially for those of us across the pond who can get a little touch of a different culture. Loving it!
Bloopers video! Absolutely brilliant idea! I would LOVE to see that… Good seeing what a beautiful job that Portsmouth Tarantulas is doing in caring for Dave’s Little Beasties. They’re THE definition of friends. ❤
This is my local shop! Usually where I get all my Tarantulas. Danielle and Scott are amazing, such a credit to the human race honestly. Can't wait for my next visit, Danielle kindly let me and the other half have a look around in the back room last time we were there. Amazing amazing amazing 😍
Ohhh man, why isn’t there a Portsmouth tarantulas in every town, love you guys and of course Camera lady and not forgetting uncle Dave 😂🫶, great work guys! ❤
Omg this video was a treat. I can't believe I missed it. I've never seen a tarantula store before. I don't think we have that in my country. Thank you to Dave, Camera Lady and the fun and sweet people of Portsmouth Tarantulars for making this possible!
Hi Dave, was lovely meeting you at the show. I’m the guy who showed you the Singapore blue I got from you a couple of months back :) If I ever find myself in Portsmouth I’m definitely gonna visit!!!
Look at Dave and Camera Lady back in action! Can't wait to see how you two set up your new digs! Sorry about the unfertile egg sack. Eventually they must have babies! Great to see The Beasties again! Much love to you both!☮
Such nice people who helped you out in your moment of need dear David, real life heroes for the Beastie Room! Greetings to your friends at Portsmouth Tarantulas and to you and our Sweet Camera Lady!👋❤👍🕷

Hi to Danielle and Scott!!! Thank you for being our heroes!!! I love the sign out front, "Feed Your Addiction". 🤣 I wish I was local so I could come by and say thanks in person. I will check out the website. This was a fun video, other than the empty sac. Maybe when you get settled again, she will double clutch. Of course, she may just be unable to be a mom. She is beautiful though. Thanks, Dave and Camera Lady, for taking us on this adventure to see the shop. Hopefully it will bring them more business. Be safe and hopefully your house is ready soon. 🕷❤
These people are so kind. Many thanks to them for helping you. It's a shame the egg sac was no good - a bit of a disappointment. Happy Monday to you and Camera Lady. The two of you are so cute together.
Wow! Amazing to see behind the scenes, recently had a purchase from PT, arrived in beautiful condition and even got some sweeties thrown in! 😋 Must have been lovely to see your spiders for a little while. Roll on when you’re reunited properly and you and Camera Lady are all settled! Best wishes and good luck with the future sacks! 🤞
Brilliant video Dave, pity about that sac, at least you can try again Dave, and credit to Portsmouth tarantulas for taking in your tarantulas, that's another super job by yourself and camera 📷 lady Dave.
Portsmouth Tarantulas are another font of knowledge alongside yourself. Danielle and the entire team at Portsmouth T's are incredible at what they do and so happy to help newcomers and beginners to the hobby. I visited in June hoping to get my second T, and have since been back a number of times. I was very fortunate to see the stock room, while my partner made great use of the therapy dog (she's a little scared of spiders 😅). Sorry about the GBB Dave. Stefan
what a great video PROFF with the incite to how the beastie room is still strong, such a pity with the bad egg sack. PORTSMOUTH TARANTULAS are an amazing team to handle your animals and run their shop, a BIG up to them PROFF. CAMERA LADY some great work with this video. many thanks guys and take care
Danielle looks just like my old friend Talitha!🙆♂️👍🎉🎸 Awesome footage, great place. I have never been to a store, that ONLY has tarantulas. We need that here in Copenhagen!😊
Good on you, PT, for coming to Dave's rescue! And what an impressive set-up you've created - a real holiday spot for beautiful animals. When the time comes, Dave's beasties might not want to leave. Condolences to Dave for the infertile sac, but could it be the fact she didn't eat this one is a sign of progress?
Wow! I love these videos when you two are out and about!!! Maybe it's a positive thing you were kicked out for a while! Ha. Ha. Love, Love Love you guys!!!
Thank you so much for these updates, I was so concerned about yall and your spider babies. I'm glad you hooked up with Portsmith Ts. I foresee future colabs with them. Bad news abt the spiders eggs being infertile. I noted she gave up the sack without a fight. Maybe she knew.....
The family and I are still here, Dave. We've been letting your videos pile up so we can binge 'em on the weekends again! Still waiting on that Phoneutria Nigriventer video... 😂😊 As always, you're the best, and we love your work! Take care and good night!
So glad they were able to help you and also keep the breeding projects going. That's just awesome. Excited to see you all get settled in your new place and follow along as you rebuild the beastie room.
Was brilliant to be able to put faces to Portsmouth tarantulas, and see where my t's came from 😊 and congrats on the sack even if it was a dud gbb are a hard one to breed so to get her to drop was a feat in itself. Not be long n I am sure you will crack them. Great upload as always Dave, Camera Lady, everyone at Portsmouth t's 😆 it was great to see what you can achieve with a bit of love n patience ❤
Amazing tour of Portsmouth tarantulas 😊 Daves spiders are in super good care there ☺️ Sorry to see the GBB infertile sack but like you say it spurs you on to keep going 🤞 Awesome guys!! 😊
I got into tarantulas the beginning of last year and the only common names i think i could tell you are Curly Haired Tarantula, Chilean Rose Hair and Venezualan Suntiger, the rest are just scientific names. I think it's importance is massive, getting advice on T's is already difficult enough as it is, "common" names are just an unnecessary point of confusion. I stick to putting scientific names and the name I have given the tarantula on labels (giving your T's unique names is super important if you have more than 1 of the same species), then I have the "Arachnifiles" app which lets you keep track of all the smaller details (smaller literally, not smaller as in less important) like date of last feed, last moult, humidity requirements, etc. Tarantulas may be hardy for the most part, but that doesn't mean they can't be killed by poor care.
I just Love the British Humour I miss that living in Canada I can’t wait to go over in October .... Mr Dave I forgot to mention I knew you had good taste in Beautiful things and at Bristol Finally got to see Camera Lady and She is as Adorable as I thought she would be 💕🎥🕷🎥🕷💕 How wonderful and fantastic we get to see inside ‘Portsmouth Tarantulas and the lovely caring Spider People There ...... They doing a Fabulous Job Caring for yours to Mr Dave (Sorry Lady Spider Produced Infertile Sac hopefully next time 😊 Thanks Mr Dave and Camera Lady for another Great Video that made me Smile 😀 To The vey end 🕸🕸🕸❤️ And Hello The All The Great People At Portsmouth Tarantulas .. Love your videos. I had been hoping you would go visit you babies. Thank you to Portsmouth Tarantulas for their help. You must be missing your spiders.
Woah ! What a beautiful facility ! Basically our version of a kid's candy store ;) Too bad about the GBB sac. Keep working at it guys, eventually you'll succeed ! Stay safe and thanks for sharing :)
Tut, tut Dave... I can't believe you spelled tarantulas wrong 😉🤣 That's a really nice shop. I must add it to my list of places to visit - when I eventually start investigating more exotics retailers later in the year.
Nice shop of PT crew which is a very helpful one 🙏 this helping hand will surely come around upon them! Helpful encouragement from Dave about the ad-hoc failures which are part of life`s mysteries and not always an outcome of our own mistakes. Keep it up guys and thanks for the vid! 🤝
What a heartwarming video. It's so encouraging to see the intersection of knowledge and compassion. Looking forward to more of your good work. Cheers from rainy Vienna, Scott
100% agree on the GBB's humidity part. Their environment it's very humid but their soil is very dry (xeric). Simply because their soil is very dry it doesn't mean that there is a lack of humidity, simply that the air takes more moisture (from the soil) than the soil receives (rain, dew...), as simple as that. If people look to their habitat's conditions, they should notice that paradoxicaly it's an humid desert.
hi Dave was cool to see where you dropped your collection off buy the sounds of it . loved your stall at the spider show in Bristol was nice to see Bethany and yourself I am enjoying my little beastie mug and coaster I keep it in pride of place on my desk. looking forward to your new Tarantula room in the future all the best
