I feel this song as I saw my friend drifting away from me. Her every movements and conversations seems distant. Like I’m not a part of her life anymore. I always thought that I was someone special to her as she was to me but I guess she doesn’t feel that way.
And now I’m slowly accepting that fact and moving on to someone else. I still miss those moments tho.
Hey, same situation here. After she suddenly sent me a condescending message on my birthday this year about how I was never there for her (I am shocked by this projection), it became like a court debate. It didn't end well, I gave up trying to fix it and just said "I think I've said enough. I am just glad people around you are protecting you very well. Enjoy your life." and stopped responding. It hurts to see your very own friend, sister!, became a complete, cynical stranger.

This song has been playing in my mind for a while. The lyric and melody, everything is so touching and so deep. Every time i hear this it feels like my heart is torn apart, yet i feel understood. I truly love this song.

i always think about that time i went to Salem with my friend when i hear this song. i was listening to it the whole way there. the trip ended up being a lot shorter then intended because we went in the fall and there where so many people that we couldn’t find a place to park, but i still remember the feeling i got vividly, there was just something about walking on that brick road. this song means a lot to me, for some reason.

Will always be my favourite song of all time. This song has helped through so many ups and downs in my life and it still does. Been 6 years since I came across his music. I wouldn't be here if not for this song. This song lets me express my emotions to tell my friends what I'm going through, helps me clear my clouded mind. I'm thankful that this exists.The memories I have to this song aren't exactly pleaseant but it feels good to be reminded that I'm still here.Hopefully everything gets better.
