- In this video i make a munnharpe/jew´s harp inspired by the "Setesdalharpe" a munnharpe type forged in Setedsal, a valley in Norway, It has a rounder shape than what i traditionaly make. I tried to use some different techniques than in my first munnharpe video. I also made a simple block in oak to protect the reed.

Хорошая работа и звук отличный, респект мастер!
Beautiful harp, and strong clear tones 👏
Magnificent blacksmithing and beautiful images!
Thank you for taking time to film. And to share it with us !
You make "travail d'orfèvre" 🇨🇵, goldsmith's work, as we use to say in France .
By the way, I am delighted with your Munnharpe 🌟
and the awesome birch wood case: again superb craftmanship. So, thank's a lot, again !! :-)
How long have you been forging Munnharpe? If it is not too indiscreet !
In any case, it has a limpid, pure, clear sound ... In a word: Top!
@@felixguimb.harder2083 thank you!😊 i forged my first munnharpe six years ago i think.

Good harping Hombre ! 😉
I've loved jaw harps since my grandmother brought me one home from a trip to Arkansas when I was a boy. I've always wondered why you can't find American made harps. I've worked on a forge making hammers, axes, knives why not jaw harps!
Art!!!
Der Vierkantdraht liegt fertig im Laden😢◽️◽️
Reminds me harps made by Knut Tveit. Nice!
Thanks! Yes, it's a nice shape i think😊
What did you use for a reed? Is it some kind of sawblade?
Can someone explain the difference between Setesdal and Telemark style munnharpes?
The Setesdal style is often a bit longer and has a rounded frame, while the Telemark style has a flat frame, almost shaped like a 'T'. Different traditions from different places in Norway🙂
@@sri5216 Thank you!
