Nice review Alex! Cake has some really cool design in the bikes they produce. For those of you that still like to get dirty, they make a very cool moto addition to the lineup. Price point, biggest issue. Electric future is looking pretty bright!

yeah yikes, i saw the price for the electric mtb/dirtbike and shits over 13k but then again there are regular bikes that get up to 20k in the setup, hell some of the mtb frames can get to 10k as well

@@sheddy22 problem is, you overpay for electric but you also can't use it. 32 miles is pathetic. I'd love to do deliveries on one but lmao that's one beach ride. Not a whole day of working. Useless for anything but 1h joyrides. They're toys at this point. Still. We've been stuck at this point for years. Maybe some day I'll see swapping station system in my country, but I'm not gonna be in delivery health/age by that time 🥲

Good design!!! I like the frame design of this e-Bike.
I have ridden an e-Bike for a while. After 6 months the, I could feel a noticeable decline of battery power declined. It was one of the best quality batteries in the market: LG. Panasonic is good too. I have been riding a Honda Ruckus since July 2021. Riding it on snowy days was challenging a little bit.
My personality is getting along better with my Ruckus than my ex-e-Bike.
    Cheers!

For that money, I'd rather have a Monkey, or a Grom and a helmet and jacket, or 2 Navis with matching helmets. I just feel like ebikes are almost there but not quite.

Great review as usual, but I have one issue. Constantly looking up and down while using a helmet cam was making me seasick. You might try a chest mount cam in the future. Believe it or not, a chest cam actually gives a very realistic view.

It has some appeal. But like the other Cake bike, it would not suit my environment. Lowland/city dwellers with flat terrain and low MPH zones I can see it being ok in. 1st question posed on camera(only one shown)was, where do you rent them? Thus heavily implying it would be ideal for a rental shop for tourists, not so much for the everyday run about.

Given how much space there is down low I would hope they add an upgrade for a larger cap battery. I like this but 30 miles is just not enough for my everyday unless I JUST drive it to and from my destination. Not adding an upgrade for a larger battery and/or a better motor is a huge mistake IMO. I like everything about it but I don't see my friend and I giving up our Peugot's for these without an option to give it a little more omph now or in the future.
Hell I'd buy it stock IF they were going to offer a battery and/or motor upgrade kit. I just want the battery but I know my riding partner and he'll want a bigger engine. I like cruising but he loves the option of "going hard". 😂 Not that you're really going to be doing that in these but he likes to have the best performance version of anything he buys.
