    In these Wanted Dead Or Alive guitar lesson videos you will learn the whole song in it's entirety.
    Along with the classic 12 string acoustic guitar intro that everyone instantly recognizes, I also demonstrate the intro of the song with all the sitar type effects and harmonics.
    From there we will also cover how to play the verse and chorus of the song and try to help you understand all the little different ways they may play those parts throughout the song.
    I wrap up these Wanted Dead Or Alive guitar lesson videos in the second video with a quick tutorial on how to play the solo. The solo is pretty straight forward and shouldn't be much of a challenge, especially if you already have a good grip on how to play pinch harmonics.
    By the way, if you don't know how to play pinch harmonics yet, just check out my lesson on how to play pinch harmonics on the guitar .
    I teach this entire Wanted Dead Or Alive lesson on a 6 string acoustic even though the original recording is on a 12 string acoustic. Don't' worry about that, the song still sounds great on just 6 strings and if you do have a 12 string acoustic just play it like I do in the video to make it sound like the original. The playing doesn't change, only the sound.
    Hope you guys enjoy these Wanted Dead Or Alive guitar lesson videos. Let me know if you wanna see some more Bon Jovi on this site.

    Who are the 38 douchebags that don't appreciate this dude? 365 has more free instructional videos of good quality than anyone else. Holmes is prolific in this regard.

    This is the way a tutorial ought to be done. Looking forward to learning this solo from your lesson. Very nice sir!

    Pinch Harmonics. First time I ever heard that in my life. It's like 'chicken pickin', still didn't get that one and I knew of chicken pickin' for years.

      Exactly! I even tune my guitar by ear, believe it or not.

    At 4:30, the tutorial becomes very confusing and you stop saying which notes you are playing, assuming that we already know. Otherwise, thanks for the tutorial and I'm going to donate after this video so you guys can keep making more videos!

    Are you using some delay...only reason I ask is because it sound like it echoing... beautifully played... considering you are playing the solo of probably one of my top 10 guitarist of all time...IMO but Richie is no slouch on guitar of you want to see him play the blues type in BB king and Richie's name...even slash is there and his blues playing isn't as sharp as Richie...

    Took me a few months. Its not hard. And anyone could learn a song by ear. They just have to know what the notes sound like. Its easy. If you can figure out the key.

    This is good for instant gratification only. The solo sounds right, but i think it's a shame, that the author hasn't explained the theory behind the solo and the song as such.

    love your videos but sometimes its soooooo damn hard to tell what is actually the song and what you are repeating to show us as an example (as in the harmonic part) also the further you get into the lessons the more you seem to speed up and leave things out. But thats just constructive crit. I always figure it out.. I love your lessons!

    idk why but i cant do the harmonics, is it possibly because i dont have and humbuckers? or do i just need more drive?

    • @bigfootsbruthr
      @bigfootsbruthr 8 лет назад +4

      Gain is most important for pinch harmonics in terms of your gear or settings, but it's mostly your technique that matters. If you're playing them right, you'll know even if your gain isn't too high. If your technique is flawed though it just won't work.
