This goes back to losing 3 straight to bottom 5 teams. Dame, Giannis and the guys were forced to play down the stretch when they could have been resting and getting their bodies ready.
Totally... except it's easy to say that now in hindsight. In reality, this team was not read for competing for the title this season. Excited for a better opportunity and proper off season of training and conditioning next year.

The young guys should have been playing those games for sure. They have very fresh legs.
Extremely unfortunate with injuries but rather see Giannis and Dame not play this series in order to prevent major damage to the achilles. Long term their careers matter more. Rather see them healthy next season.
it's not about being unfortunate. Glenn Rivers gave Giannis too many minutes late in the season in unimportant games which led to his injuries
Glenn Rivers, out of desperation, made Lillard and Giannis play 37+ min each in March leading to their injuries AND still failed to secure no. 2 seed and faced the Pacers for whom the Bucks are 1-4 this season

If they play dame with a strained Achilles, then they might as well play Giannis and go for broke.

I don't know the relationship between Mike Budenholzer and Giannis was, but I think he was the best coach for the Bucks. Doc Rivers and Dame is a bad combination cause both like to make excuses.
