No abs, drum brakes, you had brakes technically but at the weight and speed these guys were going those brakes were very unreliable. Look at dnf rates back then you were lucky to even finish a race. Imo racing prior to the mid to late 90s is different from everything after that.

For 2010 and 2012 Seb and Fernando were unlucky but Seb made more mistakes than Fernando, and he had clearly a faster car than him so for me Fernando deserved a little bit more those titles than Seb to make those mediocre Ferraris especially the F2012 to fight for the title against the Super Redbulls and McLarens.
