- They wouldn't have all those different animals if they weren't useful in some situations would they? I decided to try some different things to see how they would do. The rhino in particular is hilarious when it works.

If ya upgrade a turtle you can kill it and give multiple armor with 1 pill. Or give it a mushroom and kill it it comes back when killed with a pill. It helps having a lvl 3 turtle with all the hedgehog builds it reapplies the armor that gets lost.
that also requires spending 3 on turtle, 3+3 on two more to upgrade and then 3 to red pill it, this can easily be done by just doing it with the base turtle, this also saves on reroll costs.
@@slothythequestionable7932 three turtles plus one pill is the same amount of money as two turtles and two pills individually. So basically you're paying the same to get the same result just different ways

14:49 - Coconut melon armor did work well for me. Melon armor makes sure that the gorilla survives the first hit, then it dons the coconut armor and ignores the second one. You can expect the gorilla to do at least 3 hits this way.
This i had a 50 50 lvl 2 gorilla with melon armor and i think he game me the final victory on his own

DF being tunnel visioned into blindly missing merges or not knowing how to actually use a dragon can be very funny no matter the result.
At 10:30 he talks about getting a bison as if he didn’t miss one just before

so true. but as he always sais, if we want skilled gameplay we shouldnt be here.
there are so many wierd choices he makes x.x but most are rather decent teams, if he would just be able to make some better decisions many of these games would be wins. like taking a snake over a dragon, not skipping, or doing the placements correct.
df got a really good gut feeling but sadly many brainfarts as well :D
still its enjoyable content and as long as we have fun (even if we cringe many times) its fair game
The fact that he had the poo hat for the team indicate, DF has playing this game much more than we thought. I remember it's the second most expensive hat and yet he didn't know how to freeze neither how dragon do lmao

well he does also not know whats going on :D i bet he didnt even read half of the abilities why else would he pic a dragon (which buffs shop animals when level 1 animals are bought 13:05 over a snake :D
the snake wouldn have been totally awsome in that situation :D
all in all he just does content and is enjoying himself by doing so and for that no knowledge or perception is needed :D
@@thonex8787 technically the dragon buffs your team when you buy tier 1 animals, not the shop, but yes the fact he bought it and had it for multiple turns without using it was awful. And his big issue that run was not having enough stats across his team.
He also keeps wasting the monkey buffs, and forgets to move his lineup around as needed in general. Some of his choices are also super questionable, and he misses a lot of chances to upgrade things or freeze things for upgrades.

I’m really enjoying these videos. You can tell he enjoys this game since the video is longer than his usual ones. Though it is mildly infuriating when doesn’t merge or freeze things he could use, but then I remember whenever I do it I lose regardless.
sometimes it’s a good idea to wait to merge until a later round because leveling up an animal allows you to get a higher tier animal a round earlier
@@arisgil863 I know but I’m thinking it’s pretty painful when he rolls past an animal that could upgrade if he would freeze it
What killed me was buying a 🐉 and then rolling past just SO MANY tier 1 units.
can't wait for a leaderboard for this game, imagine the sweats fighting for no.1 while we all just watch with interest

This game is so addictive. I saw you play it and had no clue what the hell was going on, but was intrigued so decided to play. Nek minit I'd played for 8 hours while I was supposed to be working.

You can use the pill on the ant, mamoth and flamingo to give your units stats. I think this is better then just selling them, especially in the early game. also pilling spider can mean early lv 3, or pilling eagel means early lv 6 :)
If you use a dragon you should replace something like a penguin and then look for t1 units to buy every turn. It's basically a snail for your team every t1 you buy (works if you upgrade them as well)

I have never and probably will never play this game, but I love the commentary. It’s interesting and entertaining. I’m not sure which I like more, when things go as planned and opposing teams melt or when plans fall flat and DF has to pause for a beat to internally recover. The quiet rage and small sound edits make me snort.
I'm loving doing a seal build, they recently got buffed so it give +1/+1 for two units for every food you gave it, with a rabbit and a black cat it ramp up very nicely
This game is super interesting and I love seeing new build ideas that I can use when I play because I'm horrible at this game 😂 keep up the great work and happy new year everyone 🥳

It’s also a bit similar to Undermine where you die and lose everything but can get some bonuses at the beginning. Anyways I thought you might enjoy it and would love to see you play it. Hot tip: if you have lots of one particular animal, make 2 level 2s and then merge them into a 3 after. You get two tier up animals that way and if they have a level up reward like the fish, it will proc twice.
May I recommend using the cat more, seeing how often you buy the shop food. If you get it level 2 you can do stuff like throwing out shop pizza for +6 +6 on two pets, and you can do that multiple times a turn.
