On some of these exercises (including the lunges and squats), should the eyes be looking forward or upwards? Looking forward sometimes makes the person's neck crane down.
Ideally forward like when you are standing. It also depends on the person stability and balance. I focus on the wall in front of me or whatever is at eye level.

@@drtoddsullivan That makes sense. I guess I bring in my tai chi training to never look down while training; always face forward.
