For me he should have got the seventh golden ball already from 2009 to 2015 he was the best in these 7 seasons by huge gaps from the rest ... but from 2016 he weakened a bit and that's a lot because he played with a very weak team and coach ... but in 2019 he was the best player in the world (dragged Barcelona in the Champions) and this season he also deserves another one ... In general he should have already had 9 gold balls including this year❤

I’ve followed Maradona’s entire career. I saw the last few years of Pele (unfortunately, I didn’t see him at his peak). I saw Johannes Cruijff, an absolutely incredible player. I saw Ronaldo Fenómeno, one of the best strikers ever (or so was said by people considerable older than myself). I saw Paul Gascoigne, Platini, Boniek, Deyna, Zidane, George Best, Falcao, Rivelino and Teofilo Cubillas. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to see Di Stefano, Sivori, Puskas, Eusebio, Meazza, Mazzola, Rivera, Riva, Bobby Charlton, Bobby Moore, etc. Anyway, IMHO, for what I saw, the GOAT debate is between Messi and Maradona. And Messi is a little ahead because of the duration and consistency of his career.

Messi can play untill 37+ years, he Have the skills that no one can match yet, he will decline , not having the stamina , but he can keep a good standard. At 37/38 You can not run as You were ar 20. That's why Ronaldinho(my other Barca favorite) retired .
I love Dinho a lot and have the utmost respect for him. What he could do with a ball in his feet was just magical he was the reason i became a barca fan tbh but sadly he burnt out too soon because of his lifestyle but one thing he did make sure, he recognized who can take the mantle of the best long before others saw it, he saw what Messi can become. Messi on the other hand has kept the standards for so long it is insane
