I love my lil GS f. Took the fairings off and backed the stock light up. Same color as yours. These bikes are such a great deal on the used market. Around 1,200 or so for a great lil bike w centerstand, 4 g tank, 6 speed box, handles ok for what it is and best of all if ya ride w cruiser boys no worries keeping up. In fact sometimes they have a harder time. Nice vid. But hard to see speedo top speed. If Suzuki put EFI on this bike they would go from bottom to top on best beginner machine hands down. Sorry for the novel. Haha
Theyre honestly about perfect as a beginner bike imo. I feel like theyre the older ninja 300 for a bigger guy basically. Easy to work on too. They kinda just do their thing and thats that.
Just took my fairings off as well, and mounted a 6" light bar in the front as a headlight. Such an underrated bike, but when they're running right they are awesome! Sometimes I prefer it over my Speed Tripple R because I can do so much without getting in too much trouble haha
I love this thing too it has plenty of power for me, I got mine from a co-worker for a great deal. I can't complain at all its perfect for the canyons and streets.
No I buyed my last GS 500 f 2004 35 PS-Version 2023 with 50k Miles for 1350€, no problems but it depends maybe on the user and service before 😅 After a collision with a transporter I buyed this year a second one with open 48 PS and 12k Miles for 1700€. A little bit more problems with the carburettor but after an ultrasonic cleaning, new float needle valves and a new chain there were no more problems until now..😅 You can do all by self if you need but the synchronization is a little bit tricky.
@@cristian7602 bruuh you 're fast :D It's vary depending on various factors such as the bike's condition, speed, maintenance, usage... a general guideline for oil consumption in motorcycles is around 1,000 miles (1,600 kilometers) per quart (0.95 liters) of oil I add a little every 2 3 months and there are no problems
@@korazon3spinado yeah could be anything from wind direction or the way I shift, but I've gotten it to 115 on its best day. Though I've had some work done rebuilt carbs with bigger jets inside I may have a bit of a boost, Full tuck too. 😅

Actually, it's a 5 gallon (20 liter) tank.

How do you put a rev limiter on a 09 Suzuki gs500f

Why would you want a rev limiter? Im always removing them!
What the hell was that crossing the road? The chicken 🐔 🤣🤣🤣

How fast did it go?
Highest I got was about 110, wish the gps worked on my gopro it has a speed overlay just can't get it to work
That's what I got too but it was probably only 102 because the speedometer reads high.
