here is an idea for you sell your small wood mill and get the next size better of the sawmill is does everything that the one on the map except you can load wood chip into a trailer. The sawmill can hold like 50,000 liters of wood and it puts into separates them from wood beams, long planks and the other one
Change of plan, since temple for Christmas isn't happening - buy that sawmill by Christmas. It's a massive part of building the temple, so would be a major investment into the whole project.
There's now a mod called "sewer pipe" which allows you to unload water from the tanker when all greenhouses are empty and you want to transfer milk! Your water is free anyway so it's not an issue and it's a huge convience
The best trees to sell are the straight pines, but not for processing. You get far more wood per tree with thick trees like the Oak tree. 1 oak tree can have 20k litters of wood.
Didn’t you say that as part of leasing the productions, that you would have to buy them when you had enough money? Surely you should have bought the saw mill instead of the land.
@@torge94I know, but the point is that it’s kind of a cheat leasing them, realistically £1000 a day is nothing so it’s not really any different then just cheating in money to buy them really
Buy 34, go crazy on chopping down trees, sell the lot. Perfectly normal to happen in the real world honestly. There’s value to big open lots for housing developments ;)
11:52 Personally, I used the big yarder parked on field 31 and cut them down by chainsaw then brought all the trees down in bundles of 2-3. Made it nice a quick, you can then process the trees on either 29 or 31 and load them straight onto a trailer.
Universal Autoload (get it from the creators github, not some rehosting slop site). Very much still an alpha, but functions well enough. Might be too much fiddling for setting up the bounds nicely for content creation at this point
As far as trees processing is all about volume. The straight trees are for selling and he bigger trees are for processing. Of course the bigger trees are a pain to move. As far as the cows you put alot more cows in the pen than its meant for. The size of the silo is meant for the base amount. If you put a bigger pasture and more cows the size of the food holding doesn't get bigger.
20:08...the planks actually gave the sheed a door, so it did work Love your videos. Maybe connect the new firld with the field next to the grapes, so you get a large field ( oh you suggested that yourself a little later in the vidoe.....lol )
I think the wooded section would be good to buy as a forestry section. It wouldn’t be constant as trees take a long time to grow but the lumber would definitely pad the bank account
The crazy realisation that you have almost 30 hours more in your Save on FS25 than Daggerwin, even though this man seems to never sleep. Love the content Dagger! ❤️
I think you should make your new forest a commercial forest and replant Scott's Pines! Maybe even add some dirt roads for access. You could totally justify buying the harvester at that point!
Just learned today that Scots Pine is called Scotch Pine in the US: "Pinus sylvestris, the Scots pine (UK), Scotch pine (US), Baltic pine, or European red pine"
Should invest in the 3 point log winch thing you can hook it to trees and pull them to areas. I don’t even use a trailer I just pull them to the mill.😂
I know you’re not a fan of none modhub mods, but there is an edit of the mini wood production you have on the made farm, it does more cycles than the base game one and only produces wood chips. It’s been the making of my farm. All the non scotch pine trees get turned into chips and the easy to process trees go into the wood production. So once a year I sell 140,000 litres of wood chips at a good price and also produce planks for the temple
Buy a bigger sawmill and place it on the new field, and then throw the trees you have off the cliff to the sawmill which will reduce a lot of time , there is a sawmill which costs 150000 $ on store
You should probably get the Lumberjack mod if you are about to start doing so many tree's by hand. It makes it so much better, fixes the movement issues with the chainsaw.
Re the patches in the field that you thought might be from hail. I went over mine with the grass paint tool, then replowed it with the cultivator into a field. Seems to have fixed it up.
The shed build looks almost completed maybe bye the next few episodes you might be able to start using your new shed The new plot off land is a very good choice your going to make lots of money from the forest area and when you cultivate the new field and join them together in the next few episodes your definitely going to profit lots from the new land
I'm sure someone else has the specifics on selling straight from the production/ greenhouse - when you sold the 999l of mozzarella from the small dairy, it made about 2k less than the best price you'd just showed on a prior screen. I would assume it's either the average of all the selling prices everywhere, or at a convenience discount for it being taken away, maybe both.
Selling from the production charges a fee for transporting the product. It's percentage based, but not sure how much. I've heard people say anywhere from 20-40%.
2:20 There's an autroload mod that adds the autoload feature to default in-game trailers, flat-bed trucks etc. works with pallets and bales, but sadly not with logs.
@torge94 nice, I think that's the one I have, but i haven't updated it, tbh, i haven't played fs25 in a week or so, have like 80 hours now, I guess have played it to much and don't feel like playing it atm
You should start the clothes production if you have the big tailor shop and have enough fabric going into it it can produce 4-5 pallets of cloths a day which each pallet is 30-35k
@@embrikveslegardknudsen8834you can either use wool or cotton but you have to put it into a spinner first to make fabric then distribute it to the tailor shop to make clothes if you have the big one of both of those you can make about 4 pallets a day depending on how much cotton/wool you put in the spinner. On tonight's episode of Farming Simulator, i make a serious amount of money. i then spend that money on a new piece of land, and we cut down some trees
You honestly should just sell the bail trailer and the flat deck and buy a semi trailer because you already have the dollie. Then when you finally buy a semi (lorry) you’ll already have the trailer.
Also!! Stop going for only the scotch pine if youre just filling the production.. those deciduous trees have SO MUCH MORE WOOD! Straight trees are best for selling only and don't have much volume which is what youre after ..

The mizer is a great one. Won't do prefabs but it's a lot cheaper than the full size one, while just as fast.
The rocks on the new land can be removed with a skid steer with a rock breaker. I cleared the land and turned it all into a field. Hope it helps
Agreed. A very good idea.
Daggerwin start planting trees as well, so you can cut them down to save you from having to keep buying wood land

Yep, the harvester with Universal AutoLoad, and replanting would be a fast strategy.
The rocks would make a nice attribute to a goat pasture. It fits irl that the goats would like to jump and play on the rocks. Just saying
I'm hopefully gonna be getting this for Christmas

Start planting trees on ur forests

Starting a support group for plot 34.

my guess with shed getting stuck on 0 is the pallets are giving exactly 1000 where as the shed is wanting 1024, could be a coding oversight
For autoload, you can get the universal auto load mod. Will work for any trailer
