Hope Manabe Will realizes that " She is good at OH, not OP" and find a new OP player that's is more effective. Now Melissa Valdez of PFU blue cat is the best choice, along with Haruna Soga or others. So they can build the very new generation of Japanese team with these player: Koga, Mayu, Kurogo, Yamada, Soga, Melissa, Momii and more...
@@caibingoffbeatkween1842 I love her too. She and Melissa will be perfect 2 opposite players for Japan (as in 2013-2014 with Nagaoka and Sakoda). Soga did really well in both U20 World Championship 2019 and AVC championship 2019, but in V.League they don't always let her play in last season, but this year they let her play in OH position (correct me if i am wrong). But one things is that she's quite short (1.73) even she isn't that too short, but if Japanese team has a opposite player as tall as Melissa (1.85), it will help the team in term of blocking and killer spike. However, we need to wait to see that who will makes a spot in the team next year. (Maybe we might see Soga in the NT first, cuz she has more experiences and Melissa still has a Cuban nationality)
For her to stay OP for me is the best choice the NT have..Japan has too many options on OH but lacking on OP…no one is half good as kurogo at OP..kurogo just need more time to develop her game..Melissa still young, maybe not the main OP as of now…she needs more exposure in International level while soga now changed to OH in her club..and she did better as OH than OP…
@@tatatakino i know that compare her to others OP in Japan right now, she is the most stable player, but look back to she's better in OH position and yes you're right, Melissa needs more international tournament experiences, but if Japan has new strong OP players and Kurogo join Koga and Mayu to be the main OH of Japan, it will make team Japan stronger, i think...
@@bbb___b209 but that’s the problem now..they dont have any strong OP..kurogo is the only one who stable..so for me until they can find 2 more stable OP, best for kurogo to stay as OP…beside for now OP is the biggest problem of japan…to let new player to take that role, that’s risky…hope NT coaches will focus more on OP and MB…and libero…
