This kit include the TOPTANK Mini and KBOX Mini TC-75, which have 75 wattage output and with temperature control for the most of the resistance wire in the market such as Nickel, Titanium, Stainless steel, Nichrome or Kanthal.

I just bought this and found the video very helpful. Thank you. I have two of the SubVod's so, couldn't wait to try this one. I started smoking when I was 13, (I'm 52) and these vapor's have been a Godsend to me. I have been vaping for 2 years now. I crave these devices and never crave real cigarettes anymore. I never leave the house without at least 2 of them.
honestly I always kinda thought these were lame.. just how people take it too far with smoke tricks... I've smoked cigarettes for about15 years and recently got this vape from a buddy to help me quit smoking. bought my platinum edition about a year after this video came out. I'm still using the same mod today! I bought 2 more before the vape mail ban, but haven't had to open them. The platinum edition is significantly heavier and more durable than the other colors, and no paint to chip, so it still looks new. The platinum was $10 more, but SO worth it. Love Kanger stuff...
Dude thank you so much! You unintentionally showed me how to fix my Subox mini back to wattage! I was afraid I broke it, & I didn't know you could push the on button 3 times to change the settings. Once I fixed it I locked it so I can't do that again!

I am trying to get my brother to stop smoking so we went to a shop near my house yesterday and I bought him this setup. I went with this because my first vape was a nautilus mini and the draw was way to hard to get a decent hit from it and I got tired of it after like a week. I ended up going with the Subox mini and I loved it. I still have it haha but I've got a Fuchai that I use on a daily basis now. I didn't realize this is a totally different mod than the subox until. Much better than the Subox mini haha if I would've known I would've gave him the Subox and bought this for myself! XD top fill AND temp control!?! Sweet. Good job on this one Kanger!

I recently got one of these and no matter what I do it feels like I get gurgling and it spits liquid up, using the stainless steel coil atm but had the same problem with the nickle- Maybe I am just not used to it, is it supposed to feel warm when it hits your throat? Am I drawing in the vapor too slowly, could it be my juice? Great video though.
Thank you for your question. To answer that, it could be that you're priming the coil too much leaving excess juice puddled up in the middle. If you notice after priming it that its puddling up and the juice isn't being absorbed anymore, shake it out toward the floor to clear that middle section of the coil from any extra juice. That will help prevent "spit back" which is what you're experiencing. The warmth is all determined on what temperature level you have it set at.

+GeneroEdits 450 degrees is a medium to warm Vape setting. For some it's too cool so they turn it up. It's all preference which is awesome since it has a wide setting range.

That comes down to personal preference. Some folks may like the warmth from a higher temperature setting since it allows the coil to get a little hotter before power is cut. We recommend trying out multiple settings to see which one fits best for you.
I saw the red model in my local shop, and noticed that it had quite a glossy finish. Are the black and white models the same, or do they have a more satin finish?
The red one is the only color that has a glossy finish. White and black are satin.
what battery do you recommend for this kit? i have mine but every time i put Temp Control on 450 the battery icon starts flashing even on Max Charge
I used to smoke cigarettes and now I am vaping. It used to be that if I ran I would get short winded and have to stop. Now Instead of getting short winded winded my lungs get this cool feeling in them once I start to tire. Its a pretty unpleasant feeling. Any idea what this is?

Hello Calvin,
The different material coils used for this devices (titanium, nickel) are used for whats called Temperature Control. It is a feature that allows the user to set a specific temperature threshold. When vaping, if the coil gets to that specific set temperature or close to it, the device will cut power to lower the chance of burning your coil.

recently i got this kit and i'm loving it, i just don't know when to use it on wattage mode and what settings should i use when vaping the clapton coil.
It's always recommended to use in wattage mode anytime you're not using a temperature control coil. Example (Ni, Ti, SS) coils are to be used only in temp mode. Otherwise you can use wattage mode.

Hi, I recently bought one of these, when I tried to use it, the ohms flashed 9.99, and wouldn't fire, I was using the pre installed Ni coil. Please help!
Mine was per installed with the stainless steel? Do you think I bought it used or did kangertech do it
Kangertech may have changed the pre-installed option to keep up to date. Manufacturers may do that from time to time.
Hey great video! I've just got my Kangertech topbox mini and has some awesome flavor! The only downside at the moment is that the drip tip gets really hot on my lips ... any idea why this might be? i've tried switching to wattage mode and turning it down to 20 watts and it still gets really hot. Currently using the ss coils
Are you using the tip that comes with the kit? It's made of delrin which is a type of reinforced plastic meaning it should never get hot. It doesn't conduct heat. Are you using a different tip?

+zombify6 Sometimes we notice customers puckering their lips when they take a pull on their vapes. It causes the vapor to hit the front of their lips and can put forth the illusion of the tip heating up. Delrin doesn't hold any heat, especially since the coil is located at the base of your tank. We recommend taking it to the store you purchased it from to possibly get some tips and tricks!
You said it comes with a .15ohm nickel coil already in the tank, and thats exactly what mine has, but the "auto-ohm" sensor in it gives me .27 on the display. Am i confused for no reason or are my settings wrong?
The resistance on nickel coils or any temperature control type coil changes based on how hot or cold it is. It will always read slightly different on your display screen.

Totally based on your preference. If you want a wider range of power and want more options on atomizers you can use, this would be an excellent upgrade!

Just bought this kit today, it started off really good, by the end of day, the toptank started leaking from the temp holes.
Am I doing something wrong or is the toptank a faulty product ( I read on a forum , it's design flaw)

Leaking can occur if the coil is over primed in the beginning. Make sure you aren't flooding the coil on initial setup
+Cloudscape Vape Thanks for the reply... it is possible I did flood the coil, because everytime I filled up it leaked, & this last time was really bad, so I have removed that coil & installed the SS coil which was in the pack. Fingers crossed..

I Just got some snake oil (have not tried it). I see that got 40% VG. Is that bad if I want big clouds? ^^ Dose not really matter if it taste good, just want to know :)

I just bought this and when i try to vape at more than 45 watts, my battery blinks and I am unable to vape unless I lower it. Do you know why that might be? Its definitely fully charged and everything is properly connected.
Have you tried a different battery? If your battery is fully charged and its dropping that far when under load, it could have damaged cells. How old is your battery?
I haven't tried a different battery. That sounds like a good idea. Its supposedly brand new. If i were to get a new one, what would i get?

Wattage and temperature settings are personal preference. Unfortunately there is no "one size fits all" setting for these devices. You can start off at 450 degrees Fahrenheit and work your way up or down! Whichever fits your comfort.

If you are getting a burnt taste which leads to a burned throat feeling, it means the coil is not being primed properly. If it has been set up correctly and your settings are correct but still burning your throat, it could mean the level of nicotine you are using is too high for you.
Does the paint chip off on this as bad as the last one?
That would come down to if the finish is exposed to e-juice constantly, if its dropped, or if its kept in a place with objects that can scratch it.

+zzzhuh most external chargers have two modes, trickle and fast. trickle mode charges each battery at a rate of 500mA for a truer, more consistent charge. the fast charge mode outputs 1A per bay. charging the battery through the kbox mini itself replicates that fast charge rate, thus shortening the life expectancy of the battery.
+ultrakool That's good to know! I just started maybe ... a month ish ago. Bought the Kangertech Subvod and this one on the video (literally the same color too lol) and probably would've stuck with device charging had I not known about the life expectancy.

found out the hard way. luckily had a friend give me his out of a flashlight he owned.
Please be mindful when using batteries that are not purchased from a vape store. Flashlight batteries are similar but do not always have the proper specifications to operate safely on your device.
it is a high drain kind though.
+calliph the 18650 batteries that are safely used for these devices need to be high drain, smart chemistry batteries with an amperage limit of at least 25A
I just got mine and I'm pretty new to the vape stuff. Trying to quit smoking cigarettes so I want to get it set right. I'm not having any issues except it is really harsh. The vapor feels hot when I inhale, if I tried to take a drag like he does in the video and my lungs would explode. I've smoked plenty of bud and tobacco so I know it's not my lungs being sissy it's just harsh for some reason. I've tried to mess with the temp and wattage but I haven't been able to get it right just yet. It's not like defective or anything I just know that it can and should be a lot smoother than it is. Anybody have any suggestions on how to mellow it out. The smoke just feels hot and condensed. Good flavor but heavy and harsh. It's basically brand new too so the parts shouldn't be the issue.

We recommend following the wattage range printed on the coil itself. Please be sure to have your device in the proper setting before using it. If the vapor is too warm, it could be from pressing the button too early before inhaling or inhaling too slowly which does not create enough air flow to keep the vapor and coil cool. Your tank needs to be at your mouth before the firing button is pressed. As far as it feeling harsh, it could be from the nicotine level on your ejuice being too high for your tolerance. We recommend going down a level on nicotine and see if that fixes your troubles!
i have an issue with this on tc mode, wattage works fine.... but as soon as i put in tc coil in it and fire... it looks like it ramps up in a sec and cuts power....allmost dead ?
+Mantas C If your device is cutting power too soon in TC mode, it could mean that your temperature setting is too low and needs to be increased. Another reason why it could be cutting your power too early is sometimes from not creating enough airflow to keep the coil cool when you take a pull. If the airflow creating by you isn't enough, it will allow the coil to get too hot, reaching the temperature limit and cutting power like it should.

faiz malik Hello Faiz, we do recommend priming your coil with ejuice before you complete your setup. Please also make sure your settings are correct for the type of coil you are using. If you are using a standard 0.5Ω it needs to be in wattage mode. If you are utilizing temperature control with the Nickel coil it needs to be set correctly so the coil can heat properly.

It is recommended to only use high amperage batteries from a reliable seller. Generic batteries on ebay are not safe to use for vape products.

+Mohammed Abdelrahman Naturally, kanthal wire will have a higher resistance than any temperature control compatible coil. Ni and Ti coils will read lower than a kanthal equivalent.

The Topbox Mini gives additional features that the previous version does not. Such as a higher wattage range, newly designed rebuildable deck and a top fill tank.

Power mode is an option as long as you are using the proper coil type.

Delrin doesn't hold any heat, especially since the coil is located at the base of your tank. Try to have the drip tip between your lips rather than in front of your lips. Sounds silly but it helps a lot of customers that ask about that in our retail store.

Can you change the atomizer to rda?
Yes, changing the atomizer to an RDA is possible, however with this device, you are limited on power output since 1 single 18650 battery is used.
Which coil should i use with this to make cloud
Best recommendation if you want more vapor production is to use a lower ohm coil at a slightly higher wattage. Keep in mind, even with lower ohm coils, there are still limitations you should stay within.
how do you switch it back to watt mode
By pressing the firing button 3 times at a time, it will switch the chip modes. It will cycle through each option indicated on the upper right area of the display. (Ni, Ti, SS, NC) you should see wattage mode after navigating through those options.

Yasser Abdel Azim There is a possibility your wattage level is too high for the coil you are using. Printed on the side of the coil, there is a recommended range of wattage to use.

70watts is kind of high for a tank system. We don't recommend those numbers for a tank system.

This kit does not come with batteries. You will have to purchase batteries separately.
My local shop threw the battery in but they are $20 more than online just like shopping local for the service
