- This video discusses a bug I recently discovered involving bleed damage. I cant find much information about it, so I think its relatively unknown. It's not really game breaking, but Crytek should definitely get it patched.
Once you know its there, its pretty easy to figure out how to make it happen. Therefor, I decided to reveal the method, as you guys would quickly figure it out anyway.

A lot of people disagree with explanation videos like this because it spreads the bug more. But honestly i think if it isnt brought to public knowledge the devs probably wont raise it on their priority list. Anywho, good work my guy, thanks for the great content ^-^
Ya as much as it sucks to have more people know about it, more people abusing it kinda forces the devs to atleast try to fix it faster. I prefer people showig it.

i just hope that most ppl are honest enough to not abuse this. i will probably try it out in one game, but only when no one is around.
its the same with the other exploits. out of curiosity i try it out. but not use it in fight.
maybe we didn't wanted it on the devs priority list in he first place.. i didn't even had time to troll with it, if u make a video about a real problem they won't fix it, so stop keeping them busy with the extra feature of the game that u don't agree with :D

You can do the no-stamina-cost melee attack quite easily on the console. You just have to time it correctly by switching from your tool/knife to weapon animation and it won't cost any stamina. Also, you can cancel the animation as well and still have it do damage. But the range on this technique is absurdly short so I don't think the 2nd would be viable for PVP or even PVE. The first method works wonderfully for clearing out a lot of AI without costing any stamina. Awesome videos. Love your content bro!

Ok ok ok...now, maybe the burning glitch works the same? I was constantly on fire not taking any damage and I wasn't able tp replicate it. I will try this way lol Btw I think it is game breaking because one can deny damage from bleed ammo.

great info, I think this probably happens often by accident if the only thing required to trigger the bug is to double click with your med kit

I think i encountered someone using this bug a while ago, shot bim 4 times with flachete, he just took it and sprinted his way into a building.

That's the thing though, you can stop the sound but keep the bug as I explained in the video

me and my buddy have randomly had this bug occur a few times but we never know what caused it
The bug allowing you to not use stamina when meleeing does not require you to have anything to interact with, just good input timing is enough to not use stamina, that bug exists for about 2 years, which is the first time I found it. But it was always very unreliable, so I guess this makes it easier

As of now for testing purposes I can not get the bug to crop. No matter what I do or try, Could this have already been patched out or am I really just struggling that hard to get it to happen.
My buddy also says he got it to work and just basically stopped taking damage so long as the bleed was active. Was a very awkward situation for him as well because he got it to proc from Nitro shredder. And once it did he took no more damage but also couldn't heal.
I am not sure if there is more to it. I can reproduce it every time, but a friend of mine couldn't get it even once. I know if you don't click fast enough then it wont happen.
Didn't work when I tried it either. Try switching to medkit and then tap once, before the medkit is fully out, this makes it work in my case. Alternatively, press "stop bleeding" and then tap primary fire once, before the first aid kit is fully out.
Works even faster if you interact with the beartrap instead of "stop bleeding", and then press primary fire once.

Imagine bomblance with this but a plot twist! There will soon (as revealed) be deployable world med kit. So you can bleed-bug yourself from the beginning of a match without looking for a random med kit spawn.
Just throw concertina bomb or concertina trip bleed, atop the bleeding, deploy a med kit, heal, Voila.
Just make a mate cut you with knife, or find a grunt with knife.
I couldnt reproduce it on console, seems to be a delay on the square button to heal.

It's probably already being abused by them.
This actually explains q lot of mystery cases in my 5-6star matches of people casually running away after being bolted with crossbow (massive DMG, heavy bleed, depending on distance you have to stop bleeding within 2s or you WILL die... Or would, apparently :/)

as long as reshade is not baned, this is the least problem we will have in hunt. You can still shoot people in the head so - a minor inconvenience i think
I imagine this can be used when you get hit by 1 frag and took 1 damage with intense bleed. Team starts to push you, but "oh no!" you're not actually bleeding. Super busted. Hope it gets hotpatched before 1.13 actually drops.
Yes I hope its an easy fix for them, but I suspect not because it appears to have been in the game for a very long time. Hard to imagine that no one has ever reported this bug before.
@@sayler1 never noticed it but that would explain all these mystery cases of 6star players in my matches casually running away after being hit by crossbow (normally if you're not 1tapped you have to immediately stop bleeding or you will bleed out VERY shortly after...). As a bow main this breaks my heart :(

But also more ppl to exploit it till its fixed.

ok here's an idea, because this bug prevents you from naturally regenerating, you can the 1 health challenge where you go down to 1 hp and use this exploit, keeping you at 1 health. you then have to win while being able to die from any damage taken, even flashes and chokes.
That's a very cool idea, but also sounds horribly difficult. On top of being dead to any damage, you are making a very audible bleeding sound constantly.

@@Murasame13 if someone places enough trip mines on your body that you will die instantly upon reviving, the Revive button bugs out and you can't attempt further revives, even if you'd break out with them. It doesn't happen all the time, but regularly nonetheless and sends your hunter to the trash can instantly.

I tried it out, doesn't work with your method for some reason, but it fully works if you switch to your first aid kit and then tap once, before the medkit is fully out.
I have no clue why it works so easily for you.
Easiest way for me is to press "stop bleeding" into the animation and then tap primary fire once, before the first aid kit is fully out (as this makes the medkit switch back and forth)
Works even faster if you interact the beartrap first, and then press primary fire once.
That's weird, I didn't event try any other methods because double tap worked every single time for me.
@@sayler1 tried both test server and reg in training - didn't work:( Maybe it's the hunter control cheme or just me lol

@@fofortyfo I think it doesn't work if you aren't on a server. I found that it didn't work for me in the shooting range if I was alone without a time limit, but it does work when I joined with other players.

@@sayler1 It works in shooting range for me, and on training in the regular game. This might be due to us using different settings maybe. I've tried around but still get the same results, altough it was not thorough.

You sure its the server and not your game? If it runs well in trials but not a live match then i guess try a different region.

It's absolutely game breaking. You can completely negate the effects of bleed, even solo, by simply using a concertina trip and an in-world med kit. Now you are immune to bleed, even through death, and even after using a vitality. Being able to completely nullify the effects of bleed is a huge advantage IF you are playing against a flechette shotgun, dumdum ammo, or even just bolts and arrows.

knowing ctytek, they are gonna blame you for "teaching" people and do nothing.
Why is teaching in quotes, the video does teach you how to replicate the bug. I rember when a hs content maker got baned for doing the same thing and no one condemd blizz for that choice.
Because the purpose of the video is to show people and the dev team so we as players are aware and the dev team can fix it. Instead they blame you and do nothing. They have used the teaching excuse for at least 2 different bugs other CC have shown and also done nothing about said bugs but still attacked their player base.

Not working anymore
Thing that baffles me the most and the only thing I can think of that might've caused this was the changes to bleed ammo. So it inflicts heavy bleed now when you're shot. We've had a few of these ammo type bugs in the past too> If you carry 2 or sometimes 3 types of ammo then you get the reload bug. I just can't help but wonder what caused this bug. Potentially one line of code changed and it lead to a whole slew of other problems. Like animation cancel, infinite bleed moaning, bleed effect and the fact that Ghoul can heal you AND the fact that the bug can persist.
The bleed immunity bug has existed for a long time, at least a year I think. Maybe even longer.
I can see ppl using this as a huge bait

This gotta be one of the funniest fkn videos ive ever seen lol you really thought it was a reasonable thing to not just showcase, but also teach people how to use a bug that basically renders bleeding damage useless, which will 100% be abused beyond belief while saying: "this isnt game breaking or anything this isnt a big deal or anything" to yourself over and over again and even tell people: "oh even though i showed you how to do it step by step (oh btw heres another way to abuse this glitch to where you have infinite stamina without using a stamina shot) please dont use it ingame guys i just want to raise awareness". All while Crytek is busy preparing to launch their probably biggest update of the year... This has got to be a joke 💀
Yes maybe I shouldn't have showed how to do it, but I think its still better that people know about it. Its existed for at least a year without being patched.
You have to show it, otherwise it will never get fixed. So thank you. It will be frustrating 2-3 weeks with everybody doing it, but then it will be gone in a hotfix.
