    2017 ruined the kimono that traditional feel it gave is gone .

    • @CandiOsaka
      @CandiOsaka 4 года назад +4

      Traditional kimono skills is still alive here in Japan. I own Kimono and I'm currently learning Kitsuke to wear it correctly and traditionally. That 2017 clip of the kimono like a robe is not accurate actually. That's just high fashion show maybe but typically the kimono is still worn here traditionally. !

    • @CandiOsaka
      @CandiOsaka 4 года назад

      I was thinking that too! and the present time they did for kimono is not so accurate completely for kimono wearers' ! Billy ! I love your RUclips channel for learning Kitsuke ! I am currently learning Kitsuke and am trying to perfect making the ohashori !

      @@CandiOsaka I thought it was supposed to represent high fashion kimono rather than everyday wear? i doubt they meant for it to be a one to one history considering it's a 2 minute video with time for only brief explinations.

    Kimono was introduced to Japan by Korean monk as funeral clothing in plain tan material color which Japenise copied it to make it into their own clothing with coloring because they had none.
