My favorite thing about political criticism these days is how it rarely ever acknowledges one's own side's short-comings. Drives me nuts. The debate would have so much more meaning and credibility, be so much more productive in informing voters, if we just admitted we were human. Doing it the way we've been just seems to always cast a person in the light of a liar, endlessly providing fodder for the opposing side-- a convenient excuse for evading subjects, ensuring they don't actually get discussed. Hence, wonderful shows like HIGNFY. (There. Tied it in so it wasn't so off-topic. Yay. Told you I was nuts.)

After more than a decade of one party, this makes no damn sense. And in England, he ideology of the MPs is so thorough going, policy isn’t even the focus. This is the sort of crap Tory apologists Allyson come out with.

Colin Cleveland As good as can be, thank God. No. And yes.
If I needed anything the Brit would the last person I would ask: here is an economy that relies so much on the 2 trillion of suspect money that is laundered through its economy that when revealed, hardly a peep from the parliament, the “critical” media, the hoi polloi.
This is a nation that is mastered a new colonialism: that of harboring thieves and thugs from poor countries and more importantly their money.
Yet they wag their fingers hitherto inserted in their backsides and they lick them and then have the audacity to point said same fingers at others for being corrupt.
      No thank you.
      Get over it.

You know I have the notification for your reply as well as the email. That you didn’t have the courage to respond the content of my remark instead resorting to psychobabble and then deleted it speaks volumes. Have the courage of your convictions you clown.
PS: “getting your fingers out” is an age old British saying which you somehow turned into some nonsense, which if true surely means that coprophilia and anal fixations are standard British behavior having made it into the standard language.
Oh and every time you think of WWII do get on your knees and thank the Yankees for stopping German becoming your mother tongue. That there is an oddity in the White House is of little consequence to you: that clown prime minister of yours is no great shakes. Worry about him.

And speaking of anal, obsessive much????
Still haven’t responded to the content of my original post. Instead continuing with the same nonsense. And still no thank you America for keeping English as Britain’s mother tongue instead of German.

Basil: (pointing to the lovely view) "That is Torquay, Madam."
Mrs Richards: "It's not good enough!"
Basil: "May I ask what you were expecting to see out of a Torquay hotel bedroom window? Sydney Opera House, perhaps? the Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically past?..."
Mrs Richards: "Don't be silly! I expect to be able to see the sea!"
Basil: "You can see the sea, it's over there between the land and the sky."
